A few heavy showers here today, took a chance and went into town this afternoon. Now back home and going to see what Iām having for dinner.
Itās getting a little gusty here and my area isnāt even covered by the weather warning. The weatherās gone right off again.
Iām off to rummage in the fridge now too ā¦ I fancy sausage and chips but thatās fattening, needs willpower to resist ā¦ so Iām having sausage and chips.

Morning. No damage here this morning apart from rain last night there wasnāt any wind. Housework today and tidy up some drawers. Have a few bits and pieces of shopping to get then out to dinner tonight with my niece.

Well, we had a lot of wind last night but the greenhouse glass survived it !! Today we have a bunch of family today - they will bring their dog home and she has been a real gem and my sister will be here also.

So we had a very lunch with gammon and chicken with a nice white wine. Then we had delightful desert with our cake. Then they all went home including their wee dog. All very quietā¦

Morning. It didnāt seem that warm here yesterday, met a friend in town for lunch. Not sure what to do today probably some housework or food shopping.
24 degrees C here in Greater London/Kent. Sunny and little wind. Putting more things into an unheated greenhouse. Tomato plants just been potted on. Took two Dahlia cuttings last year. One has a green shoot. Repotted other one and this has firm tubers developed. Planting onion sets on veg plot and potatoes chitted - just need to make trenches and plant them. Plenty to do now in a short space of time.

Itās not been too bad here today again, went to the pool, did Tesco and went to the Reef to drink my latte today, still some of the competitors from the surfing camped out there, so watched them out on the waves for a while.
Having to stay close to home now because of the petrol situation, itās dire. 
My daughter and grandaughter were coming up for a few days, then heading west to Plockton ovenight, then on exploring down the West Coast home. But thatās cancelled as they wouldnāt make it home, with garages all closed and no petrolā¦Sickening
