Caithness is tripping over castles. So many of them, mostly ruined but a few still lived in.

Good morning weather not aa nice as it was yesterday. I don’t live near any castles or ruins, the last one I visited was Stirling Castle. I’m the like the rest of you I prefer to do my own shopping. Not sure what to get up to today maybe a bit of shopping as its to cold to do anything in the garden.

Actually I think more people are starting to get their groceries delivered. As it happens we used to the grocery delivered when lived on the farm. That was six miles away for us. The Lipton van was there.

Morning, Suns out again and I’m recovering from changing the bed, it’s mostly fine except for getting the duvet cover on that’s a real fight. Just waiting on the washing machine finishing.
Out to dinner at Scrabster tonight then probably call in at the village local for a while on the way home, friends are usually there.
Have a good W/E everyone.

Good morning Each,it’s a chillier one here and I had to switch the heating on first thing,
SIL phoned earlier to say They won’t be coming for lunch as He has a stinking cold which He doesn’t want to pass on…I’m quite relieved as I overdid it in the garden yesterday and every joint in My body is painful…so…staying in My PJs,feet up,book,Netflix, tea and choccie biscuits,
Have a good Sunday All,xx

I don’t believe it!
I’ve just read the weather and they’re forecasting a cold spell with wintry showers for Wednesday and Thursday.

Now that looks rather intimidating and foreboding … I love the turrets. Isn’t that connected to the queen-mum (that was) … and Bowes-Lyon?

Yes, impressive. I think it is The Earl of Strathmore and it is open to the public.

Good morning. A lot colder here today , so the winter coat will be going again today. Got a gardener coming to look at the garden, I just want it looking tidy. I’ll be going into town after that as I need more wool for the baby hats.

Morning, A bit nippy here today :face_with_diagonal_mouth: meant to get snow too, if the weather man is to be belived…Just Great.
Had my swim, done a few messages and then came home and filled up the bird feeders, wee cheeky came back for a 2nd breakfast too. He was there scoffing first time when I went to the pool at 7.30am.

Morning not very nice again here today. Gardener came yesterday and will start on the garden next week. Its mostly to keep it tidy and my niece’s dad will still be cutting the grass for me. Hairdressers then try and visit my niece later.

Morning, Blooming cold here along with 40+ mph winds. It’s an inside day for me no walk or garden but I did the pool and had my latte while wave watching as usual.
Glad you got your gardener sorted Jess.
Have a good day all.

OMG IT’S BACK TO WINTER HERE. We have winds that you struggle to stand up in, AND Snow.
Had to rake out my jacket and woolie hat for going to the pool. Ocean is raging and wild, enjoyed watching it after my swim, even the car was rocking while I was parked at The Front.
Hope your all faring better. :grimacing:

Snow! You can keep it … :slightly_smiling_face: …but keep snug and warm.
It’s blustery here, yes, that’s the word and rather nippy so I’ll get nippy too , off out to the shops before the real threatening clouds get here.

Here in South Yorkshire it is 7C but bloody cold and windy !!.

Evening a really cold wind here today. I wouldn’t have gone out only I had to go to the bank. I thought we had put the winter clothes away for this time of year. Thankfully we didn’t have any snow.

After hail showers yesterday today was bright and a bit blustery but nice.
Don’t forget clocks go forward this weekend.
And next weekend is Easter … I’m trying to be organised for a change.

Morning, Very breezy with heavy showers today, but that’s better than the last few days :+1:
Had my swim and had my latte at The Front as usual, then called into Tesco for a few things. Coming out of the Leisure Centre I saw loads of Daffs on the river Bank, so I went and swiped a vase full, they fair cheer up the kitchen  I love Daffs.
Have a good day everyone.
