Watch it Mister …I’ll never live it down

Afternoon Each,a sunny showery one here and still quite cool,

I broke a step on My kitchen step ladders some time ago (nowt to do with My weight honest)…:-p…so had a bigger sturdier 4 step one delivered this Morn’ with handrails which had to be fitted…no prob’s…now I don’t have to depend on Son changing ceiling light bulbs or cleaning shades as He gave Me a row for standing on the kitchen chair last week to do it

Nee good May you will need scaffold to get ower the wall. Have a good day peeps.

heh heh…nae scaffold needed Kid as Theresa knows where Her bread’s buttered since The Scots tories gave Her a leg up…

Hi everyone . Been a couple of walks so far today . Weather here dull but ver warm so not particularly pleasant .
On my lunch break now so off to get some

Good afternoon

Abbey you may be interested in reading this blog …

This woman’s a doctor and I’ve subscribed to her blog … the walk to Ardwell (from Livingstone if I remember rightly) sounded horrendous … bulls everywhere, etc

Thank you so much for that Myrtle . It was fantastic , you can see why I love Ardwell ! The furthest away cottage you can see in the Ardwell pic is where my Mums Aunt and Uncle lived . I have been coming here all my life and moved here 7 years ago . I actually know the guy she was speaking to the ex farmer moving to the Isle of Wight , he is a neighbour of mine !
Apparently Winston Churchill was at Knockinaam lodge during the war for talks . Now it’s quite a posh hotel so naturally too posh for me !
Thanks again Myrtle , Oh enjoyed it too

What a great read with wonderful views and scenery too…thanks Myrtle, most enjoyable

Glad you both enjoyed it  it is of particular interest because Abbey mentions her Ardwell Pond walk and lives in Portpatrick … great that you can relate to it Abbey.

Ruth does some great walks … always on her own too … and posts some lovely pictures and writes an interesting blog … she’s someone I’d love to have a walk with  I don’t know when she works … she looks too young to be retired

Good evening everybody. Nom will we need a passport to get over the wall?. May I have a pair of stepladders that my nephew made at college when he was training as a joiner. It was the usual nobody wanted them till they seen them. Myrtle that was an interesting read about Ardwell. Abbey my friends nephew is married to a girl from Portpartick and he is a farmer.

I hope you enjoy reading it … last one I promise

It’s a small world Jess !
Thank you for that link Myrtle . It was lovely and the photos were really good . The golf course is where OH plays . It’s near to the hotel where you might stay one day !
When I think about it I remember seeing that lady around the village . I’m out and about a lot .

Wow Abbey … pity you didn’t say hello to her … you could’ve got a mention in her blog !!!

Portpatrick’s still on my list
