Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Scot hope you all had a great time to spend time with the family. Myrtle I’m sure you’ll have a great time in Edinburgh its a great city to visit, plus you get a great view of Edinburgh form the John Lewis tearoom.

Jess maybe we could pop through and meet Myrtle for a coffee, Maggie might come and join us.

Rona that’s a good idea, Maggie would certainly up for it.

Apologies to Scot

From reading all your posts on here I know what a good viewpoint John Lewis is … thanks for the info  In fact when I was travelling to Strathpeffer a couple of months ago the coach stopped at Gretna and whilst I was sat on a bench a young man sat down looking lost and lonely (as I probably did too !) so I said “hello … where are you off to”. He was going to Edinburgh so I told him about the view from the John Lewis coffe shop  Get me !!! I’m just like Trip Adviser … but I did tell him where I’d got the info from … think he thought I was a potty old woman

Nice idea about a meet up but I don’t know until I get there whether the trip to Edinburgh will be on the Saturday or Sunday … … but I’d certainly love to meet you all

Myrtle if you think you can make it, just give us a shout!!!

I certainly will … thank you

Myrtle, it’s always nice to meet some new faces. I also think the coach trips are such a great way to get round and meet new people. I have been on one to London this year, and am looking for the next one. Such great value for money as well.

Myrtle it would be nice to meet up. I use to go on coach trips but haven’t been on one for a few years.

What another terrible day we have had today, where is our summer???

Rona it wasn’t to bad here today, we’ve just had a shower of rain. I’m hoping for a few nice days.

Been cold and showery here Jess. Difficult to get washing dry, just want some sunshine, but looks like am out of luck for this year.

Rona I put bedding out yesterday and got then dried, I put towels out today but they were still wet when I brought them in.

Had to put the heating on, was cold. Hard to believe in July/August we need it though.

Rona I’ve put the heating a few times at night time.

Another miserable day, don’t think this grass of mine will ever get cut!

Not too bad a day up here CL. Clouded over in the afternoon. Supposed to be a better day tomorrow. Got run down at ASDA yesterday. Not in the car park but inside the store by a lady on one of those electric wheel chairs. She reversed into me in the clothes section.

Rona I don’t have to worry about cutting the grass, but I do have to go out and the weeding. Scot hope your ok after being knocked down yesterday by an electric wheelchair.

Scot some of them folk with the electric scooters think they own the place. Hope your ok though!
A better day today, had to go to the dentist and all was good for another six months, then met a friend for coffee and a wee nibble.
My sister in law comes up from London on Saturday so a busy time ahead, have been spring cleaning the house, a little late I know. But she is one of these folk who has a dust free and totally organised house. Me, ha, open a cupboard and something falls out and hits you on the head lol!!!

Hi Rona glad all went well at the dentists today, and you enjoyed your coffee and nibble. You sound like I put things in the cupboard and then they fall out on me, I’m catching up on housework round here.

Well done Jess, for getting yer work done!! you reminded me, there is loads of weeds in our garden, there’s been so much rain no wonder!!
