Met up with my friend and we went for lunch. The weather stayed dry and we even seen the sun for a little while.
Afternoon Folks,turned out not a bad one here…just back from a wee Birthday lunch with Son/Daughter…stuffed to the gills…time to start watching the old weight again Methinks…

I had a lovely weekend in Torquay … Saturday was like a summer’s day

Hi Myrtle glad you had good weather in Torquay. Did your grand daughter enjoy her trip to the seaside?
Hi Jess Grace absolutely loved it from start to finish and can’t wait to go on the next one
We went to Brixham on Saturday morning then Babbacombe in the afternoon … spent time in the model village then a walk along the Downs with an ice cream. On Sunday we got the train from Torquay along the coast to Exeter … straight onto the train back to Dawlish (she loved the black swans) … back on the train to Teignmouth for a while … then train to Torquay. We then got the bus to Goodrington Sands for a quick visit.
Busy, busy, busy I know but such a lot of great places to see
She loves the hotels and we managed to have a few dances in the evening so she was well pleased
Myrtle glad your grand daughter enjoyed herself. Its better to see as much as you can on a trip when your away. Does your grand daughter like dancing ?
Yes she loves dancing … she does ballet and tap and also goes to ballroom dancing class … of course she also enjoys what we call disco dancing … but her greatest love is gymnastics … she goes three times a week and has just achieved Grade 4 and is part of a team at her gymnastics club who take part in competitions
Myrtle your granddaughter sounds like a little star, between dancing and gymnastics. Raining with some sleet up here this morning. Staying home as I don’t need anything from the shops.
