Good evening ladies. Tidied up the front garden today and fed the plants. Going out later to water the plants back and front, then go for a walk.
Morning Girls, Am feeling a bit disgusted, we were promised a lovely hot sunny day and itâs not arrived. Instead itâs cool and cloudyâŠsigh.
Not long back from the pool and after lunch itâs the garden and weeding for meâŠMore Sighs.
Afternoon all. It is a lovely day here, Roxy. Yesterday was quite nice too. Went to Callander. Enjoyed it but was very busy. Hope you get the sunshine soon Roxy.
Have a good day every body. I am settling down to watch Wimbledon. Love the tennis
Afternoon AllâŠhot hot hot hereâŠhad to come in from the garden to find a sunhatâŠlong may the sun shine
Good afternoon May, hope you are well? Iâm having problems understanding your weather â hot, hot, hot there? How can it be like that, itâs Scotland and more to the point itâs tipping with rain âdown southâ!
Can we have our usual weather back please.
Heh heh,Iâm ticketyboo Baz,hope Youâre the same
Itâs 22* here and thatâs hot enough for MeâŠsorry Your weatherâs so bad thoughâŠ:-p
Good to hear May, Iâm good too. Goodness knows what the temperature here is though? Just had a look and itâs 19ÂșC in the house and 14ÂșC in the car parked on the drive. Itâs definitely not very warm and tipping it down! The weather seems to have swapped ends of the UK doesnât it! Never mind, summer will soon be here. Oh, itâs arrived already did I hear you say?
Well if itâs any consolation Kiddo,itâs started to cloud over here nowâŠbugger!..Who mentioned the weather!!!
Perhaps itâs back to the usual weather for Scotland? Any flooding or snow warnings?
EEK!..wash Yer mouth out Laddie
OK, no sign of rain until Sunday though and tomorrow itâs forecast to be 23ÂșC â enjoy!
Good evening everybody. Hi Baz, good to see you posting. Really warm here today and they stopped the ferry waiting time for cars one hour passengers about the same. Been out in the garden today tidying it up, will water the plants later.
Great to see Murray back at Wimbledon and what a fabâ match it was,nerve-racking,well done big Man
Morning All, Sitting outside the Leisure Centre waiting for a pal whoâs decided to join me for a swim this morning. Then itâs shopping for me and a late-ish walk for the dog. Looks like it may brighten up so I can get into the garden after lunch. May I saw on the News of Andy Murrayâs win, just what he needed to set him up on his return, but Iâm not into watching sport of any kind.
Have a nice day everyone.
Morning all, what a beautiful morning it is, must buy some different weedkiller, this one Iâm using seems to be feeding the weeds instead of killing themâŠ
Good morning everybody. Didnât watch the tennis yesterday, but glad that Murray won his match. Sun is shining and Iâm off to the hairdressers shortly. A bit of gardening and then sit in the sun for a wee while.
Good morning each, and itâs gonna be a scorcher here in Lanarkshire later,so Iâll be going into hiding in the Afternoon
Had a set of telescopic loppers delivered from Argos first thing this morning,so Iâve been busy lopping branches from the trees, and getting rid of a couple of large shrubs which were dying,so thatâs My lot for the dayâŠout to the lounger with a cuppa and a couple of well earned choccie biscuitsâŠhave a good one Folks and remember the suncream.x
Paula, I stopped buying weed killer years ago as it was useless and far too expensive, I now make my own and it works.
2 bottles white vinegar.
Pack of Table Salt.
Washing up liquid.
Plastic Funnel.
Large plastic bottle.
Get an empty bottle that had diluting juice in it, rinse it out and make a hole in the screw cap.
I buy 2 bottles of WHITE vinegar, pour 1 into your juice bottle, add 4 tablespoons of table salt. pour the other bottle of vinegar in and add a large-ish squeeze of washing up liquid. Screw top back on and up end the bottle a couple of times to mix it all together. Then squirt the weeds and by the next day most of them will be almost dead. Any stubborn ones may need another squirt. But I can assure you IT WILL WORK.
Thanks Roxy, thatâs a good tip I will certainly try itâŠI know this weedkillerâs rubbishâŠ
Good morning ladies, somebodyâs stole the sun. Didnât sit outside yesterday till late afternoon, it was to warm. Finished reading a book I started a few months ago. Nails this morning then a bit of housework for me today.
