Hi Pixie hope your wee dog got on alright at the vet. Bonnie was terrified for the vet. We had to drag her in.she slipped her lead once and got out and had to chase her up the road. Must be hard not to be with her or him.
Thanks Bonnie, She hates the vet and it was horrible not going in with her. Her eyes were wide with terror and I had to keep a tight hold of her so she wouldnāt throw herself into the road to get home! The vet nurse was dismissive of my concerns, and called on the next in the queue - but she handed me a load of meds anyway (??) I didnāt get a chance to ask questions either. Iām not going back there, this new routine is not what I pay for.
Pixie sorry to hear that you didnāt get to ask the questions that you wanted today. Hope your dog is ok with the medication. Two of my neighbours were discussing vet prices yesterday, one has a Westie and the other a Lapso. Sun has come out here in the last hour, so will get out for a walk after dinner.
Thanks Jessā¦vet prices are horrendous, plus the monthly insurance which barely covers anything a pet suffers from. Not that I grudge the insurance at all, but the stuff she gave me I could have got from the chemist, over the counter, for half the price!
Good Morning Lassies,a mild dull cloudy one here, and Iām still in My PJs,
Giving My SH a new coat of paint inside & out which means moving the furniture into the garden,so hope the rain stays away,
I know the rules for covid have relaxed now,but the furthest Iāve been is to The Range in Wishaw which is around 30 minās on the bus,I was hoping to
go into the City (Glasgow) soon, but,Iāve changed My mind as there is some concern about this new Indian variantā¦soā¦Iāll just continue shopping locally with an online shop now and thenā¦No walks along the
promā for Me any time soon.
Good afternoon ladies. Hairdressers for me this morning, then nieces picked up and took me to lunch. May Iāve been going into Glasgow getting what I need then the train home again.
Evening Ladiesā¦yes Iām worried about the Indian variant too. Did you see the immigration lot in Glasgow trying to catch a couple of people but had to give up due to the protests? That crowd!
I think weāre all getting worried now about the new variant. Another week of not going into Glasgow or out of it. Pixie I seen that on the news last night about the immigration people in Glasgow last night.
Mr P has just gone back to his office in Glasgow to work, this week. Iām quite paranoid about the trains and people, but donāt say anything. I just hand him the bleach and the laundry basket when he comes in the door!
Good morning ladies. Pixie the trains arenāt to bad at the moment. People are keeping their distance and most of them sticking to the rules with masks etc.
Good Morning People,itās not a nice one here at all, dull and chilly after yesterdays lovely warm sunshineā¦Had the Family visiting in the garden
and everything was just so normalā¦as long as I donāt watch the news on tv :shock:ā¦Daughter brought Me a lovely peacock garden ornament which is also a plantpot.
Hope You are all well?..Donāt see Roxy about so hope Sheās ok,
Have a good Monday All,x
Good afternoon ladies. Tidied up some of the back and front garden yesterday, nice weather for it as well. Today I went to Tesco in Greenock for some shopping sun is out but a few spots of rain along with it.
Good afternoon lasses. Managed to get 3 loads of washing done in spite of the dark clouds looming. In between it was really sunny. All ironed and stored away so quite happy.
Yesterday was lovely here too. My SIL and my niece came up to see us. We had a good chat in the garden then went a walk with their dog. Then back for tea, sandwiches and cakes. It was nice.
Enjoy the rest of your day, girls.
Evening ladies. Been a mixed day weather wise - out and about with the dog, but not far.
Good morning ladies. Hairdressers and butchers for me today. Also the post office with a birthday card for my niece, her birthday is on Friday,
Morning, Cloudy and dull here today too. Was going to put a wash on before I take the dog out but not so sure now. Few jobs to be getting on with outside if the weather letās me, case of wait n see.
Roxy I hung the washing out before I went to the hairdressers. Sun is shining here at the moment, lovely blue skies. Change of plan my nieces are coming down shortly.
Afternoon Ladiesā¦getting chilly now. Done todays chores, and also a bit of a good deed. A lady left her bag behind in the street as she was tending to her baby in the pram and walked offā¦I ran after her with the bag and she was so grateful! We laughed about how ditzy being a new mum can make you, and it was just a nice moment.
Lovely sunny day here and I did a bit in the garden. Nieces came down and after they left I went along to the butchers. Pixie that was good that you were able to give the lady her bag back.
Afternoon Ladies, Not too bad weather wise here, got a washing out on the ropes so fingers crossed. Had a very late swim today, just back AND, theyāve opened up the Steam Rooms, Saunas and Jacuzzis. Had my swim then a wonderful soak in a roasting hot jacuzzi with a powerful jet hammering into the small of my backā¦Bliss. Only 2 at a time but I had mine to myself.
