Morning All, Just bunged Dageus out the back and all is calm, the flagstones are dry too so that’s a good sign. Chiropractor again at 9am then pop into Tesco on the way home. Quick coffee and off for our walk. Don’t know about this afternoon yet, not sure what himself has in store for the day.
Good morning. You were up early Roxy, I was still sleeping at that time. Will have to move and do some housework. I think this lockdown makes you lazy because you know people wont be visiting you the same.
Yes I think your right Jess, lol. I was only up early as I had an early night last night I’d slept for ten solid hours. Made good use of it though, had a big mug of frothy coffee, then prepared the veg for the soup, and bunged a wash on…
Sunny and cold here today. Did a bit of housework, then some shopping. Then out for a walk along the prom.
Afternoon All, Lovely day here, wall to wall blue sky and a wee bit of heat in the sun…bliss.
Am just going to sit out in it , but in a warm sheltered spot at the stables door, will make me feel so much happier to get the sun on me for a while.
Not much to do here today so just lazing…
Hi Roxy it was the same here then clouded over. Walked to the local shop for a paper and some veg. Looked out the window and it was trying to snow.
It was lovely here all day Jess, but the sun moved off my spot after a while and I went back indoors. Just leaned my head back on the wall and let the sun soak into my face, felt sooo good.
Morning ladies. Sunny and frosty again here this morning. Roxy know what you mean its lovely to just sit and feel the sun on your body. Will have to get the dyson out today and tidy up. May hope your ok.
Morning All, Bitterly cold here this morning, suns out but it was still minus 5deg when I went off out with the dog. I thought yesterday that the evenings are starting to stretch a wee bit, it was still light at 4pm and a couple of weeks back it was dark at that time. Himself has fed the horses and the baaaas, and is now on a fence check, then he said he’s having the afternoon off.
we still have the snow from yesterday, couldn’t believe my eyes this morning when I saw the gritter coming along our street that hasn’t happened for a while…they grit the main roads, but we can’t get out to the main roads because our streets are covered in ice and snow.
the car battery’s flat again, the same happened during the first lockdown, It, getting on a bit I think it might be a good idea to get a new one.
Hi Paula, How’s your daughter doing? No more symptoms I hope…
she’s ok Roxy thanks, back at work today, she had strange taste and couldn’t smell , very tired and headaches, my son had the vaccine a week past Wednesday
he works in a hospital and was tested before it …he was negative, after getting the vaccine he was ill felt like he had the flu and was in bed all weekend, that can be side effects from this vaccine, he went to work on monday ,told his boss how he had been feeling, so they tested him again he got a text the next morning to say he was positive, but he has no symptoms, he’s feeling ok now, but is isolating…
Better to be safe than sorry, he’s right to isolate IMO. Good your daughter is feeling a bit better, I don’t think the younger ones get such a bad dose as we older ones do. I wish my daughter was feeling better, it’s 2 weeks on Wednesday since she had the jag and is still off work. It’s put me right off having the jag.
Morning All, still dark here but no frost, strange as there was a lot of frost forming on the greenhouse when we let the dog out for a wee at bed time. Monday again and a new week, stable duties for me today along with the usual house work. Have a good day ladies.
Roxy, sorry to hear your daughter’s feeling ill, it does make you think twice about having it, I’ve heard that some vaccines cause more side effects than others, has she been tested since she had the jab…going to send for my car breakdown service today, might need a new battery…
Paula, it’s pain in her arm and shoulder, she doesn’t feel ill. She did say yesterday that she had slight movement in it and she had none before. It’s the muscle that’s the problem it went into a spasm and locked. She couldn’t do anything for herself like get dressed, get washed ect. Thank Heavens she has a decent husband who’s been great at helping her.
I have been running my car every day, it went flat battery on me during the March Lockdown because of wee runs to the beach for the dogs walk. This time I make sure it does at least 20 miles a day, I go the long way and back everywhere I have to go, it’s kept the battery charged so far.
I’m really getting fed up with driving and mot’s and services, I just can’t be bothered now, husband doesn’t drive so everything’s left to me, but on the other hand, I’d miss it for shopping …can’t win. hope your daughter’s arm’s better soon, it’s awful when you can’t do things that we all take for granted
Good morning. I’ve been reading that some folk have flu symptons and others a sore arm. Paula hope your son and daughter are feeling better. Roxy hope your daughter is as well. Not sure what to get up to today as boredom is popping in. I need some veg but I was reading on the local FB page that its quite icy out there at the moment.
morning all, miserable and wet here, just been out for a drive and filled the car with petrol, waiting for my Asda order, might bake some scones…
Morning All, Back to the cold again. Lots of snow through the night and it’s laying. Had a cold walk along Sandside Beach this morning and was glad to get home. Having trouble staying awake for some reason, think it’ll be a snooze for me shortly.
Hope your daughter’s arm is improving Roxy, my son had another test yesterday and he’s negative…
