Afternoon, just back from getting some messages, it’s turned cold here again and had to defrost the car before I could go out. Audio Book by the fire for me now till it’s time to get the dinner sorted.
Weather girl says we’ve to get more snow tonight,
Snow…eeekkkkk you can keep it down there. we’ve had more than enough of the beastly stuff. No frost for us tonight and rain tomorrow.
Good morning ladies. No snow here thank goodness. Housework and then out for a walk later.
Morning, Rain here today. Not been out with the dog yet, keep hoping it will go off. Going to have to go soon though as the hairy one is highly unchuffed at the delay.
Just tidied up around the house earlier as there’s not much to do.
AND…Another one hits the deck. Sheezzzzeee.
Good afternoon ladies. Not been out the door for two days. My niece came down yesterday and brought some shopping in for me. Did some housework and a washing and now sat down with my feet up.
Afternoon Ladies, Been one of those days where I can’t get out of the bit, flipping annoying lol.
Was at the doctors this morning for blood tests, I hate when they take blood, but it’s done now and have to wait for the results, next week sometime…
Dull and cold all day, the heating never seems to be off…
Roxy hope all goes well with the blood tests. Paula my heating is on all the time just now. Going to make a sandwich and a cuppa and watch I player.
Morning All, Not raining here at the moment so heading out a bit early with the dog. Got stable duties when we return so a busy morning ahead. Making a big pot of soup this afternoon and then some ironing.
Jess I’ve had borderline diabetes for several years and attended a clinic check by the practice every six months before the March Lockdown. I finally got to speak to my own Doctor about this leg n back pain and as well as changing my medication she made me an appointment to get my bloods checked.
Good morning ladies been raining here this morning. I made soup the other day and put it in the freezer, will have some for lunch. Still have ironing to do but it can wait. A few years ago I was feeling dizzy and was given one of those machines to check my blood pressure. I was told it was fine but I would have to go back and get it checked still waiting but I’m feeling fine.
my daughter is a carer and a few of the staff she works with have tested positive for covid…she tested negative last week , but on friday she was tested again and tested positive, she has lost her smell and taste, I am so worried I can’t stop crying…it’s a nightmare
Oh bloody hell Paula, what an awful thing to happen. I worry about my own daughter as she’s in a Doctors Surgery and she sees patients in her office. Every time she phones my hearts in my mouth.
Fingers crossed that your daughter will have a very mild dose or the test is wrong, as I understand many are.
Roxy , it just makes you realize that there’s nothing more precious or important than your health, the worst thing is you can’t even get to be with her , I am praying like I’ve never prayed before
Morning All, Dry here but cold n dull. Having a lazy day as I’ve caught up with things at last.
Paula how are you today? Has your daughter not had the vaccine? mine got her jab last week.
Hoping things get on the mend very quickly, and we are here if you need to talk.
Good morning ladies.Paula hope your daughter has a mild dose of covid. Roxy hope your daughter is ok. They started the vaccine here yesterday for the over 80’s. Dry here at the moment so so hope to get out for a walk later.
Thank you both for asking, she was due to have her jab tomorrow, I spoke to her this morning and she says she’s fine …it’s her taste and smell that’s affected. I think if you test positive that you have now to wait 4 weeks before you can be vaccinated…
HMMMM, Not sure about that, suggest your lass gives her GP Surgery a quick call. The reception should be able to tell her. Glad to hear she’s doing ok…
Pop over to the Pets Threads and have a wee look at my Maggie’s puppes video. That will cheer you up a bit. Will be posting more shortly as they got older.
Paula I’m not sure how it goes with the vaccine with people who’ve tested positive. Roxy had a look at your pups and they are gorgeous. Never went out the door today, did some ironing and a few other things.
