Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Hi Roxy, I’ve been reading on our local site that it rained last night, so its been icy out there. Haven’t been out yet but I’ll be careful and probably get a taxi home from the shops.

Morning, Not as bad out as yesterday but still not nice. If the Councils had got off their backsides and gone into work there would not have been so many accidents, they make me furious. :mad2:
Beach walk again this morning as it’s the only place I feel safe underfoot, will be so glad when the weather warms up a bit.
Just housework for me this afternoon. Take care out there…

Hi Roxy, I went out yesterday and walked a few yards down the street and turned back. Hopefully it will be better tomorrow and I can get out to the shops for a wee while. May, and Paula hope your ok.

the snow and ice have been lying here for days…I’ve got a tin foil tray beneath a tree in the garden and have to go out with a kettle of warm water every morning for the birds …and the three kitten that visit…keep safe…

Took some of the decorations down here today and will take the tree down tomorrow.

We never put any up so nothing to take down, all dusty and me sneezing all over the place. :044:

Roxy I didn’t feel like putting any of them out, it was more to cheer myself up. Cards are down and will go in the blue bin, I like to recycle them but no where to take them this year.

Afternoon, Boy it’s another cold one, having bother getting myself warm and keeping warm. Having an afternoon by the fire with my audio book, jigsaw and coffee.

the weather girl said it was -12 in the highlands last night …more snow and ice to come…coorie in lassies ,

Aye, I saw that Paula, it was around -5 here last night and it’s still below freezing…

Another cold one here today and I’ve still not been out since Sunday. Tree is down and put away, I want a new one next year. Phoned a local shop for to deliver some cleaning stuff and a few bottles of wine.

It’s getting quite difficult to get a slot on Asda or Tesco…and they’re putting
their prices for a slot up…tesco wanted £7 at the weekend…greed

Paula I’ve never shopped on line, I prefer to see what I’m buying. I wont be going anywhere for shopping except for where I live.

Morning, It’s horrible here today, freezing fog and a biting wind. Glad I’m inside for the rest of the day. I only bought my messages online the once, never again, it was a total disaster. And like you Jess I much prefer to pick my own…
£7 to get a Tesco delivery, disgraceful. :010: Wouldn’t it be great if everyone went to another store to teach them a lesson, and left them with nothing to deliver. :044:

aye it would maybe bring them down a peg or two…we had quite a bit of snow through the night…but it seems to be thawing…

Sorry, couldn’t resist, had to post this. :044: :044: :044:

Good afternoon ladies. Managed to get out today to the shops for a few things. Roxy I like to pick my own fruit and veg and not take what a supermarket decides to send you. Paula we have some snow on the hills here it can stay there. Roxy nice one.

like that Roxy…we had mist here almost all day and it was swirling…looked spooky

Good morning ladies. Sunny and frosty here again. Will decide later if I’m going out for a walk to the shops. May hope your ok.

Morning, Not so bad here today…thank goodness. Had my appointment with the Chiro guy at 9am and starting to feel human again. :mini:
Was out on Dunnet Beach very early on and WOW what a sky, it was fabby. :101:
Just working around here this afternoon, hope you get out for a walk soon Jess.
