Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

It was great drying weather today right enough. I got 3 seperate loads done, all dried and put away. Fair chuffed.:lol:

Good evening everybody. Hairdressers for me today, then some food shopping. Nice and sunny in town but then a sudden shower of rain. Staying home tomorrow as the weather is supposed to be dire.

Good Morning Each,a very wet n windy one here…so I’m not going out…again!
This is the kind of scenario where Folks get together indoors spreading The virus around,so I won’t be surprised if there’s a total lockdown within the week

Been on a bit of a health kick this past few weeks,so lost some of the excess LBS I’ve put on over the last few Months…but…on days like this I get the munchies so it’s just as well there’s not one single biscuit/crisps/chocolate in the house  :-p

Stay safe Eveeryone.xxx

Morning, Boy it’s wild up here and cold. Been out with the dog and got soaked n frozen. Hot shower and back in my PJs now. lol. May just stay like that too.
May I see Doris is thinking full lockdown again so yes your correct, I think we won’t be far behind. :022: Hmmmm must check how many toilet tolls we have. :044: :044:

Good morning everybody wet and windy here today. Haven’t been out the door yet, going out later to my nieces and staying overnight.

Good Evening All,still blowing a gale here and it’s not stopped raining…freezing too,

It looks like the WHOLE of England is about to be put into a total lockdown for a Month!..jeeze!..Hoping We don’t follow unless it’s absolutely necessary.

Enjoy Your time at Your Niece’s Jessie as after Monday the 2nd November we won’t be able to travel outside Our Council area…more joy :frowning:

Still have 2 packs of 9 TRs Roxy so that should keep Me going for quite a while

Morning, very dark, wet, but the winds gone…thank goodness. This damn covid is starting to get to me now, really didn’t think it would as I live out in the wilds BUT, it seems to be on my mind all the time, the telly, radio and internet never give it a rest, it’s all people in the shops are talking about, phone calls are full of it and it’s starting to get me really down I just can’t get away from it.
Dog is showing no signs of wanting to go for his walk, curled up on his couch blanket so that’s fine with me as I’ll slip back to bed for a while longer. Have a good day.

Good morning Folks,a dry cold one here atm,but heavy rain to follow later,

Aye it’s all doom & gloom wherever We look but I’m taking it a day at a time,My affairs are all in order if this cursed virus takes Me,but in the meantime I’m just keeping on doing what I have been doing over the past 8 months,…I’m sure lots of Folks who live in large Towns/Cities will be wanting to upsticks and move to areas which aren’t as infected as Theirs,so God knows what will happen then!..but as one of the actors in ā€˜Dads Army’ saysā€¦ā€œdon’t panic don’t panicā€ so I’ll take His advice, but not the old Scotsman who says ā€œWe’re all doomedā€ :-p

Keep Yer chins up Lassies and stay safe, xxx

Just read this on ā€˜Glasgow Live’

ā€œmass vaccinationā€ programme is being planned for Scotland in mid-December, according to a leaked email.

A memo has been uncovered by the Sunday Mail that relates to the roll out of an anticipated nationwide Covid-19 inoculation schedule in just six weeks time.

The document explains it’s ā€œthe most important public health goal in our lifetimesā€.

It’s also understood the Scottish NHS has already awarded a contract for supply of refrigeration equipment to store the vaccine when it becomes available.

Good afternoon ladies. Weather still a bit wild here at the moment. Enjoyed my time at my nieces last night her great granddaughter was there and kept us amused. Got some more food when I was out. Roxy I listen to the news at six and that’s enough for me. May I hope we don’t go into another lockdown, I’m enjoying my bit of freedom at the moment.

Hi Folks,Nobody been around for a couple of days on here, not surprised as there’s nothing positive happening with covid/brexit/weather.:-(…Decided to steer well clear of any crap news in the morning,so I watch Sky Arts on tv where there’s maybe an Opera on,or like now the beautiful Ballet ā€˜Giselle’…So I’ll just say good morning good afternoon & goodnight, and hope You’re all ok.:039:

Morning Ladies, I was feeling too sorry for myself yesterday as I ended up at the doctors. A few days ago I got this niggle in the small of my back, got worse each day, till yesterday when I was in agony. Managed to get an appointment and it seems I must have overdone it with the family visit and yanked the big muscle that goes from the lower back to the buttock. She gave me an injection as everything was all inflamed and a prescription for heavy duty pain killers. Feeling a good bit better today, might be able to walk the dog again tomorrow all be it a short walk. Bottom line is… This happened because my body can’t cope the way it did when I was swimming every day. I have to bite the bullet and go back as soon as I’m sorted. Bloody virus.
Take care all.

Good morning ladies. I’m getting fed up with everything at the moment, including tv. Hairdressers and opticians for me today. Also some housework and ironing, and joy of joys defrost the freezer.

Morning, Supposed to be a good day weather wise, sooooo I’ve got the bedding in the machine at the moment. Fingers crossed.
May, I see the daily papers are talking about this nationwide Covid inoculation today, hopefully it will happen soon AND, that it’s safe.

Good Morning Each,a fine sunny frosty one here so just back from a walk and popped into the co-op for 2 rolls for breakfast, sausage & bacon…I’m ready for anything now :-p

Aye I see They’re talking about rolling out the covid vaccination all over the Country, and I read it has to be done twice…a month apart …I’m thinking it’ll be well into the Spring before We get it as it’ll be prioritised…it’s a guessing game…will it work?..who knows…in the meantime I’m in semi hibernation mode,

Hope You feel better Roxy…see Ya A’ later…keep warm & stay safe,xx

Good morning ladies. Sunny here at the moment hope it lasts. Roxy hope your feeling better today and your back is easing off. May that sounds good bacon and sausage, nae tattie scone. Haven’t seen any news about the vaccinanation. Some shopping for me today and then put my feet up.

Thanks, the pain killers are helping and I’m able to move a bit more easily, but I can only do a bit at a time and have to sit down as the pain starts again. As soon as it subsides I can do another wee bit. Putting the clean duvet cover on was fun (not) Still, baby steps all way I can go.

Roxy glad to hear its easing off a bit. Kept dry here today andI managed to get out for a walk. Nothing much on television tonight, so I’ll start another jigsaw.

Jess, I love jigsaws, especially the Thomas Kinkade ones. Mine are all online though and I just save till the next time when I’ve had enough. I have 800+ in my files now, been collecting them over ten years, I also listen to my audio books while I’m doing one.

Good morning ladies, another dry day here at the moment. Roxy I do the jigsaws on FB, and usually watch tv while I’m doing it. Some shopping this morning and drop bags off at the food bank later.

Morning, Another lovely sunny day. Soak them up while you can, they will be few n far between soon enough. A bit easier movement again today too, hopefully be better by the W/E. I’m dreading tonight as the town’s fireworks display is cancelled, it’s a very popular one and nearly everyone goes to it and we’re not bothered by private parties, but this year we’re really worried as we don’t know what tonight will bring. We’ve moved things around a bit and brought all the sheep down near the house and the big barn they can get into, the horses will be locked up and Dageus I know will be having fits as he’s terrified of fireworks.
