Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Good morning ladies. Roxy I think we’ll all be waiting to hear what she says. I hope there aren’t more restrictions. Hairdressers for me then tidy up the garage then some housework.

Good morning ladies. Some more sunshine here today although its getting colder. Food shopping today for me, and hopefully there wont be any panic buying.

Afternoon Each,it’s been a fine sunny morning here and The washing is blowing merrily on the line…dulling down now though so have to keep my eyes on it,

No restrictions on travel Roxy so You’ll be able to keep Your appointments in Perth then travel back up North with no problem,

Nothing much has changed for Me with the new rules as Daughter & SIL can still visit and I’m still getting most of My groceries & other stuff delivered online,

We’ll all get through this as long as We abide by the rules for a while longer, xxx

May I wont be travelling very far, into town when I have to go. I can still keep in touch with my niece and her family. She’s also ordered me a small chest freezer to put in the garage. I have enough food in the freezer to keep me going.

Evening Ladies, Boy it was chilly last night, when I went out with the dog early this morning it was 3deg on the car dash and the wee snowflake thing pinged on. Brrrrr. Had 2 appointments today, done n dusted just my 2 hour session tomorrow with my hairdresser who will have a fit when she sees my hair, 8 months since she did it last. Meeting my daughter on Sunday at St Andrews for a beach walk, last time I’ll see her for a while, then I’ll finish up the jobs around here and head back up North. Catch you all later…

Good morning ladies. Roxy good luck at your hairdressers today. Went to St. Andrews a few years ago with friends and its a lovely place to visit. Hairdressers for me this morning, then a quick visit to the shops and get the train home.

Good morning Each from a frosty sunny Lanarkshire,

Hoping to get the grass cut later when the frost melts!

I’ve put Myself into isolation as the number of new cases of covid in
My area has risen to 91 in the last 24 hours…250 new cases in Glasgow city…We’re back to where We started and it’s getting worse…so no Visitors at all for me until things improve but I’m not holding My breath :frowning:

Stay safe Folks xx

Good morning ladies. Its frightening the way this thing is coming back again. I just wish people would do what they are told. I’m only going shopping and getting what I need and then home again. Sun is out here so I’ll get another bit done in the garden and then go for a walk.

Morning, not so cold this morning, yesterday was a real wake up call to Winter being around the corner.
The Aurora was visible in Perth a couple of nights ago, a real surprise as it’s the first time I’ve seen it so far south. It wasn’t as bright as I see on the north coast but still not too shabby. This was taken from the old bridge over the Tay… Have a good day all.

Good morning ladies. Roxy I seen them once coming back from Los Angeles on the plane. Raining here this morning after the sunshine yesterday. So I’ll catch up on some housework and ironing.

Morning, Another cold one last night…sighs. Shopping this morning and hoping to work in the garden this afternoon, just a tidy up and weed pull.

Good Morning Each,a nice sunny one here so a potter around the garden tidying up and weeding too,

Haven’t seen Beki around for a wee while or Baz either come to think of it…Hope They’re both ok :039:

Stay safe all,xx

Good morning (well, nearly made it) to you May and to all up there in sunny Scotland!

What’s all this May, sunny in Scotland? There’s me thinking it’s always cold and raining ‘up north’!

I’m OK May, thanks, I hope Beki is too. I do ‘look in’ occasionally but have given the forum a miss for a while as I was so disillusioned with some of what happened on here at the beginning of last month. Maybe I will return and post more regularly, maybe not. Only time will tell on that one.

Regards to all on OFF who ‘know’ me, trust you are all keeping safe and well.

Hi Baz,nice to see You again, and I know what You mean…I too am slowly weaning Myself off of the OFF as there’s enough doom & gloom with the rise of covid in Scotland again, and the effect it has on Our economy and Our mental health,so the last thing I want or need is reading some of the racist/negative shyte that’s been posted on this Forum over the past few months…so…I’m guessing I won’t be popping in here or posting next Year unless things change,

Glad to hear You’re doing ok …The sun’s gone and it’s clouded over here now,but it was lovely whilst it lasted, (and so was being a busy poster on this Site at one time) :frowning:

I used to post a lot too when I first arrived here, different crowd, much smaller and nicer forum then. Today it’s a competition to see who can be the foulest in some sections.
Wait untill they get their teeth into Indy Ref2 once it gets going. I was actually stunned at some of the hatred directed at the Scots who want independence…And some of those who don’t. Too many Scots have left here in disgust.
Baz, you are always welcome in here, we will make you an honoury Scot lol.

Good evening everybody. Lovely sunny day here, I had the hairdressers this morning and then some food shopping. I was wondering what has happened to Beki as well.

Nice to see you too May, it would seem then that I am not the only one!

Hi Roxy, so you are another one who’s disillusioned, like me!

Thanks for the invite to be an honorary Scot, I’ll get my sporran,
not too sure about the kilt though.

Morning, :039: Yuck what a day, heavy rain and a cold wind. :107: AND, just to add to my misery when I was out with the dog I heard and saw the first flock of geese leaving and heading south for the winter. An afternoon of online jigsaw and audio book for me then.
Baz I’m sure you’ll look a right bonnie sight in a kilt, I’m sure my other half and My Laird has a spare one in the wardrobe someplace, welcome to Clan MacLeod.
I hope Beki has not gone and over done it at the gym, I know when I get back to the pool there’s no way I’ll be able to go straight back into 50 lengths a day. Will have to try for 20 and build it up again…sheeeze. :090:

Good afternoon everybody. Been raining here as well today and it seems to have stopped, Going to take a chance and go to the shops for bread.

Good morning Each from a sunny Lanarkshire (aye, the sun’s shining down on the righteous again Baz) :-p and I’m looking forward to seeing You in full Highland regalia :-p

Was up with the lark this morning intending to shampoo the carpets/rugs,then it dawned on Me I had lent My machine to Daughters Mum in law some months ago, won’t get it back any time soon as She is also back in lockdown…bugger!..so spent My energy cleaning the Bung’ inside out, will get windows cleaned after I have a coffee,

The Forum seems to have become more pleasant & civilised over the past few days…I think I know why

Stay well and keep safe all,xxx
