Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Afternoon, Very cloudy today, no sun at all but no rain either. Was reading how the Government and the Police are worried about people not staying at home tomorrow.
Ministers have said “Stay at Home” Is an Instruction, NOT a Request. So if caught then I hope the selfish Beggers get arrested and more trouble than they can handle. The sooner they do as they’re told the sooner it will be over. :075:

Roxy I just hope they all take the advice. I’m missing M&S for their pasta. But the fishmonger and local butcher are making deliveries so I will use them.

Evening Ladies,it turned out to be a blinking freezing day here so have had the heating on for most of it…what heatwave!!

I see Baw Jaws pregnant Fiance is showing signs of having contracted the virus…a very worrying time for her.

Wrong gender but I hope you don’t mind me replying May? Until today it’s been freezing cold here when others have experienced warmer weather so I know how you must feel. Tomorrow though here ‘down south’ is supposed to be warm, hope it’s the same for you. Anyway, we will see but I do hope so as I just need some sunshine!

I was about to post news relevant to your second paragraph, the posts below give details:

BREAKING NEWS:

PM"s fiancee Carrie Symonds bed-ridden with Covid-19 symptoms.

From MSN.

Sorry Baz,I thought it was just Us Lassies posting…:-p…welcome back…long time no see.

Ditto about the weather…sick to death of feeling cold, like You I long for some warm sunshine on My face/body…x fingers.

:023: Thanks May, I do often look in but don’t always post.

Yes, some nice, warm sunshine will be most welcome. Hope for all of us that happens, it’s bad enough being isolated, as we are, but not to be able to get out in any sun makes this far worse! :frowning:

Perhaps I had better look out the sun protection oil, I wonder what Factor will be needed!

Good morning ladies and Baz if you look in. Didn’t know that his fiancee was showing signs of the virus.I went for a walk yesterday and it was freezing. It doesn’t look any warmer out there today. Ordered veg to make soup and the turnip is the size of a football, dont know how I’m going to cut it.

Good Morning Each,no sun here yet but it’s promised for the afternoon…I’ll believe it when I see it…Decided to order some things I need from ‘snappy shopper’ CO-OP…what a waste of time that was,out of the 9 items I wanted
They only had 4 which came to around £5 with £3 delivery charge,so They’re scrubbed off My Home deliveries  will just have to wait until Thursday for Morrisons to turn up.

Be careful wi’ that tumshie Jessie,I almost broke My foot once when I dropped a large one on it…You’ll need a big butchers knife tae slice it in half/quarter  :-p

Morning, I’m still sky watching for the promised sun, :102: Have my shorts n vest top waiting on the bed. Hoped for a wee base tan while I worked outside the day. HAH. :090:

I SEE London has had to close a park because of selfish idiots gathering. :104: Don’t see that happening here…Thank Goodness. :081:

Gobshites…I don’t envy the Police,I mean how can They arrest someone who won’t comply with the rules when They’re standing 2 mtrs away

Managed to cut the turnip without any mishaps. May the two local shops I’ve used are delivering free. One is just up the road so handy for milk, and a few other things. Our co op is quite small and expensive.Roxy no sunshine here today either. There was two guys spraying all the benches at the front with disinfectant, goes to show some people care.

Well it looks like the Government is losing patience with these idiots, and I could cheerfully slap each n every one of them. :mad2: :mad2: :mad2:

If this ban goes ahead I hope it’s for them down South and not here.

Bloody Hell, I can’t put Dageus into a no walk situation he’d never understand and it would be hell for him.

I very much doubt They could stop Folks walking Their dogs Roxy, that would be cruelty to Animals surely…but who knows how things are going to go on…everyone is getting ratty…especially Our lovely Tory Friends south of the border and Ayrshire too :-p

Well the sun finally came out for all of 10 minutes…accompanied by a wind which would cut Yer lugs aff…jeeze…I had My lounger all set up for a nice read in the back garden too.

I’ve just read that Catherine Calderwood has resigned,I suppose She couldn’t do anything else after letting The Government.Nicola, and the Scottish People down by Her Own stupidity…She was doing such a great job every day too…wonder who’ll take Her place.

I feel sorry for her and furious at her, stupid woman why on earth did she do it. She was so good at her job too. But what really made my blood boil was that Tory Creep Murdo Fraser coming on the News and saying what a disgrace it is. AND…All the time himself and two other top Scottish Tories had a day out hiking on Ben Vorlich. They tweeted about it and posted photos of themselves, then deleted the photos, But, not before members of Yes Caithness saw and shared them.
Bloody Skunks.

What a pair of hypocritical bastards They are,and I’m sure many others have done exactly the same only They didn’t have sneaks following Their every move desperate to bring Them down. They make Me sick the lot of Them…Nicola has a very difficult job as it is without the opposition stalking Her at every turn waiting for Her or Her team to make mistakes.

I thought I was doing quite well with this isolation, but I woke this morning with a loud knocking in My ears which I thought was someone at the front door, turns out it was My heart I was hearing racing & hammering in My ears, found a paper bag in a kitchen drawer and blew in & out for a wee while, but it frightened Me,could it have been a panic attack?..that’s never happened to Me before and I still feel quite weak so not watching/listening to any news today,it’s obviously getting to Me.

Good morning ladies. Haven’t watched or heard any news since yesterday. I’m fed up with it all and only watch it at tea time. Roxy I’m sure that they wont stop dog walking as its exercise.May hope your wee heart is ok now. I was reading on a site on FB where a crowd of drunken obs were out in the borders. The police were called but they just shouted abuse at her.

Morning Ladies, Yes May that sounds exactly like a panic attack, I used to get them sometimes when I was still living with my husband, and I knew he was at the pub drinking. I also knew what would happen when he got home, and it caused me to have one. Jess I hope your right as my escape over to the beach first thing every day is what keeps me going. I know we have the fields here but it’s not the same, and I never walk the dog in them.

Afternoon Lassies,ta,I’m as right as rain now ;-).I just worry for My Family, especially Those on the front Line like My Grandaughter Sarah May who is a physiotherapist in a NHS hospital in Uxbridge…My Niece Lindsey who is a Doctor in another NHS Hospital in London…also My Daughter & SIL,who are keyworkers making sure the food & meds’ We all need are delivered to shops & Pharmacies all over the Country…I also want to say a big thanks to Our First Minister for doing such a sterling job in keeping Us all safe every day…well done to everyone of Us who are abiding by the rules too.xxx

I totally get it May, My daughter works with Doctors from a GP Surgery in Arbroath , at the moment she’s Organizing over 100 volunteers and she’s been dealing face to face at times. It terrifies me…
