Mornin’ Jessie, well done Your council…Good You are able to walk to the local shops for food & essentials…take care and don’t be talkin’ tae any strange Men ![]()
:-):-)Hi May I’m lucky I can get to the shops its a ten minute walk. Will have to go out and get a few things, I want to get some more bleach. Wishful thinking a bout meeting a strange man
Afternoon Each, had a wee turn round the garden but didn’t linger long…it’s Baltic out there…there are quite a few things I could be doing…but I just can’t be bothered…lethargy has set in…wonder how long it’ll last
Went to the shops for a few things. May it was Baltic here, also like a ghost town with most of the shops closed.
Good Morning Lassies, welcome to another groundhog day
…Well I’ve decided to turn that around and get Myself organised with an exercise routine,10 min’s dancing around in the morning to rock n roll cd’s,10 min’s on the ex’ bike, then a stint with Rosemary Conley DVD in afternoon…I have quite painful sinuses caused mainly from being indoors so much with the central heating on,and I have almost run out of paracetamol
…It’s another cold dull cloudy day so glad I got the grass cut last week when it was mild and sunny…take care all and see Ye A’ later.xx
Good morning ladies. Been out to Morrison’s and its amazing the amount of food people are buying. They are limiting it to three items a pf person, which to me is wrong. May I’m thinking of putting a cd on and dancing round the living room.
I see charley has corona virus so He must have had symptoms before He left London….SO MUCH FOR STAYING AT HOME:twisted:
Just seen it on the tv. Poor Charley at least he wont have to worry about shopping.
Morning, Quite cold here today again, been out with the dog and went to Tesco, bit more organised there, red cross 6ft apart you wait in line on the cross while you get your trolly sanitized and brought to you. Barrier cones for way in and way out, staff on patrol everywhere, mostly 3 items only from each section. Ok it took me longer but I was glad to see all this in place.
Roxy they had barriers outside Morrison’s this morning. They have hand sanitiser at the door and paper towel. Also stickers on the floor to keep you six feet apart. I don’t really like Morrison’s but needs ,must at the moment.
Haven’t been near a supermarket for weeks so glad They’re being sensible about safety…Morrisons was the only SM I could get a delivery slot within 3 weeks,so looking forward to some goodies being delivered on the 9th…I hope!.
I was on the phone earlier with my friend in Perth and she told me Morrisons there is a disgrace. No slot for older/vulnerable people, no sanitizer for customers, anyone in at anytime, after 8am . Only thing going is 7-8am is NHS. Says she’s not going back again. Seems both Tesco and Asda have things in place though, also the big Co-op near her too.
May, I can’t use the delivery, even when I’m down in Perth, seems their system doesn’t like my card. So I have to go myself. Prefer to actually and people here are starting to settle down…A bit.
Good Morning Each,it’s a dreich wet one here,as if I wasn’t gloomy enough!
Aye I think the panic buying is levelling off now,but as this is the end of the Month I’m sure the Supermarkets will be packed out this weekend.
Have You received Your text message from the UK GOV’?..They sent Me 2
one on Tuesday, another on Wednesday…do They think I need telling twice.
GOV.UK CORONAVIRUS ALERT. New rules in force now: you must stay at home. More info and exemptions at gov.uk/coronavirus Stay at home. Protect the NHS. Save lives.
Good afternoon ladies. Roxy I cant use supermarket delivery either, I’ve always preferred to go and buy food. May I dont think its levelling off here. One guy yesterday morning had a trolley full of veg. A woman walked round with a full trolley, then came back with an empty trolley. Going to make some vegetable soup later, I managed to get leek and carrots in the butchers.
Aye,of course I prefer to go to the shops Myself and always have done…but…We’re told by the Gov’ ‘YOU MUST STAY AT HOME’…I really don’t want My Family to be running back & forth with food for Me,so the next best thing is to shop online…but now even that is becoming impossible for some
who have no alternative but to go to the shops for food putting Themselves at risk of catching this bloody virus…hopefully restrictions will ease in the next 2/3 weeks.

Evening those figures are worrying May, it’s been dead up here, hardly any traffic moving along the road. Was later going out with the dog today but still met nobody. I wear my chiffon scarf when I go out and if I have to go to the shop then I pull it up over my nose n mouth just before I leave the car, and I use the sanitizer as soon as I get back to the car. Also wear gloves. As soon as the messages are put away I scrub my hands. Trying to go to the shop only once a week, back to making shopping lists again.
From tenement windows in cities to the front doors of suburbia - Scotland pays tribute to hero NHS workers
For those standing together by staying apart, it was a chance to unite in spirit, if not in body, and pay a heartfelt thanks to those working day and night at the frontline of an unprecedented national health crisis.
God bless Them and keep Them safe

Morning All, Miserable here today that sort of drizzle that soaks you and chills you to the bone. I had no idea about the tribute till it was over and I saw it on the news.
I refused to have the radio or the telly on through the day yesterday and I wasn’t on line either I just wanted a rest from it all. No telly or radio today either, but might have a bash at a jigsaw later today, along with an audio book. But not until all my works done. Havre a good day ……Well as much as you can.
