Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Morning, What a day. I’m jammed in a corner with my laptop while the carpet goes down. The house is dreadful to get around with all the living room stuff all over the place, dog is perched on a chair on his blanket…not a happy ladd. Will be so glad when it’s down and I can get the house back to normal, it’s pouring so the dog’s not had his walk yet but as the fitter is here he’d not get one anyway. Sheeeze roll on normal.

Good morning everybody. Roxy hope the new carpet is being fitted at the moment. Raining here at the moment and there are strong winds predicted. Going to the hairdressers then straight home as I don’t need anything from the shops.

Carpets down and room is back to normal…phew. Just got to find a new rug but will have to get it online as there’s nothing here. This was one hacked off dog during the work.

Good morning everybody. Grey skies here this morning so not sure, what I’m doing today. Roxy hope that the house is back to normal. Poor Daegus looks fed up sitting on the sofa.

Morning, Yes it’s all back to normal BUT I need to get a new fireside rug in deep moss green and that’s hard as they are not easy to find. There’s no shop here that sells them, even finding it hard online.

Good morning everybody. Roxy my niece has a rug that colour, I think she got it in Ikea. Have a slight cold this morning so staying home. So its some housework and ironing.

morning, I’m sooo tired today, I think all the heavy work of the last few days has caught up with me. Am heading back to bed for a sleep after lunch, I can hardly keep my eyes open. Weathers not bad, just the odd shower and no icy wind. Dog only got a short walk as I’m too tired to go far, he’s not a youngster so missing a day won’t harm him…

Good Afternoon Each,it’s a sunny chilly one here and quite spring-like as snowdrops and daffs are beginning to sprout, but I suspect the Winter hasn’t even started yet and no doubt We’ll get the snaw & hale between Feb’ & April…Still it was nice pottering aboot the garden wi’ Ma boots hat & gloves on this morn’…Hope all have recovered from Yer Ne’erday festivities and looking forward to 2020 and see what it brings Us all

Hi May, Yes our garden is looking like it wants to get going as well. There are big buds on my Azaleas and my Rhododendrons. Need to rake up more leaves as my Bamboo is shedding faster than a Labrador dog. But I need to be in the mood and the weather needs to cooperate.
No hangovers here as I don’t drink and Himself only has a couple of Lagers, not a big drinker just likes the pub for the company and the chat, but glad it’s all over as I really am not keen on this time of year.

Good morning everybody. I have daffs coming through in the back garden at the moment. I’m glad its all over as well and things are back to normal. Hairdressers then into town to have a look round the shops. Haven’t been in town for a few weeks.

Good Afternoon Each,it’s been another fine chilly sunny one here so been out gallivanting around town spending some gift vouchers…heavy rain & wind forecast for the weekend so will be staying indoors with My books…have a good one Folks,xx

Morning, Sheeezze what a day this is, terrific wind, can hardly stand in it never mind walk the dog, rain lashing… Yuck. Hope it’s better where you all are. Helped Himself feed the animals and get them into the barns till this is over. Not even going into town for messages as it’s likely the car will be blown off the road, plenty in the freezer I can use though.
Think I prefer the normal winter weather to this. Stay safe if you head out.

Good morning everybody. Windy here last night and heavy rain. Popping out to the shops shortly as I want a few things, mainly a paper for the tv bit. Watched the new programme last night, Deadwater Fall and was trying to figure out where it was filmed.

I forgot to set the recorder up for that………Blast. Hope I can find it on catchup.
This tells you about the location Jess.

Good morning/afternoon Lassies, and what a dark, wild, wet, windy one it is,I haven’t stuck My nose out the door and have no intention of going anywhere.

I too missed the start of Darkwater Fell so will have to catch up as it looks interesting.

Good morning May, well only missed it by a few minutes! I have just peeked in again and noticed you were posting so thought I should just say “good morning” to you and to all in Scotland too. From the weather report and from another Scottish person from way up north it’s not too good at the moment. No fun at all when it’s dark, wild, wet and windy so hope it soon improves for you all.

Good morning everybody. Blue skies here after all the rain last night. Thanks Roxy for the information where it was filmed. I really enjoyed it. Hi Bas. Going to catch up on some programmes I’ve missed over the last few weks.

Morning, :039: What a difference a day makes eh. Suns out, wind’s dropped, rains away, and the ocean is calm…well as calm as it gets here. Had a beach walk with the dog, now there’s a wash on and after a quick tidy up we’re meeting friends for a pub lunch.
Enjoy your Sunday…

Good Afternoon People, well it was a lovely sunny morn’ but now it’s lashing down with rain, went out to shut the shed door and it wouldn’t close over as the wood has swollen with the rain…jeeze, also been fitting a new toilet seat as the old one was wobbling and I almost found Myself on the bathroom floor the other day……wharra palaver…finally managed to follow the diagram then discovered it was too far back,so had to dismantle the bloody thing and put the metal rods through another hole on the disc…don’t ask…the air was blue …will My shed door ever shut properly again?..will My new toilet seat behave itself?..gawd knows…I’m off for a well deserved coffee & 2 Tunnocks caramel logs…I deserve 'em

Back to not sleeping again. Aaahhhh. :010:
