Tried a few ‘scrunchies’ today, May, and, when I walked down to the village, kept tightening and relaxing the abs. There is a dull aching now - so something is working. Will try doing a little more each day.
Morning All, It’s only 4am got up for a wee now I’m blooming well awake sheeze I hate when that happens. Having a latte then I’ll go back to bed and hopefully back to sleep. No frost out there thank goodness, cool, calm and dry. Enjoy your Sunday.
Good Morning Roxy and everyone.
That is something I could not do - go back to bed. Once I am up - I am up, no matter how early.
Just having a cup of tea, then off down to the village shop to buy a paper. Will make some porridge when I come back - can’t beat it when the weather is cold!
Good Morning Each, another sunny one here so a stint in the garden later…I’m sleeping for longer these days around 9/10 hrs the past 2 nights!..Hope You managed another couple of hours Roxy,
Keep up the good work on Your ab’s ST…floor exercises are out for Me as I have an arthritic spine,so I can get down there ok,but it’s hellish painful getting back up :-p
Good morning everybody. Roxy I hate waking up and going to the toilet through the night. The only exercise I do is walking. A wee bit of gardening for me today and then a walk.
Hello lovely people.
I am just testing the waters here.
I don’t see much of the posters here, so I hope I can pop in to say hi.
It is cold here in the South today.
I get bored on Sunday, I am so used to working and multitasking all week, I can’t wind down.
Hi SP,nice to see You…lovely People are ALWAYS welcome on the Scottish Club forum
Thanks May. X
I can get to know you all a little better.
I feel connected as one, I have a Scottish surname, and two, my husband side comes from Scotland.
Morning Again, got back to sleep, wonder of wonders lol. Just back from the forest with the dog, I guess it won’t be quiet for much longer as come May the tourists start to land here in droves. I know it’s good for the area’s business ect but gawd they’re everywhere AND leaving their mess behind.
Hi Sweetie, nice to see you lass, and welcome.
Hi Rox, glad you had some rest.
Tourism tell me about it!
They come to Bournemouth and fill our beaches.
Hi again Folks, well the weeding in the garden didn’t last long…sun went in and a freezing wind sprung up,so back indoors with a warm mug of Bovril…I’m staying put for the rest of the day.
Don’t blame you mate, I was almost blue with the cold when I got back in from our wood walk .The Laird almost earned himself a slap as he told me “it’s just a bracing breeze lass”…Snort.
Thanks May. It seems quite late for a garden programme to start but I do enjoy it. It is much more down to earth (excuse the pun) than the ever poncy Gardener’s World with its Japan specials for example.
Beechgrove is more direct and just gets on with it which I prefer. Old Jim does mention ‘Tatties’ quite a bit though. :-p
It just makes me laugh for some reason.
I tried four of those yesterday, two in the morning and two after lunch and I enjoyed them immensely.
Sorry, I thought you said ‘Crunchies’.
Tourists season starting here too in the SW. Roads are getting busy with caravans and there just seems to be people everywhere. They are called ‘Grockels’ down here which is a bit of a derogatory term. I’m probably still one even though I have lived here for four years and probably always will be.
Bloody Scunners the lot of 'em.
Lol…aye We do love Our tatties up here and I never get scunnered of them …have some growing in pots which will be ready to dig up in a couple of Months…new tatties with a dob of butter & syboes…Fab’,
I do that too May, just planked ten in a trough tub the other week.
What really pisses me off is… They have no idea how to drive on wee single track roads. AND somebody please tell those Yanks you do not park a bloody great motor home in a wee passing place Then set up a picnic table. Sheezzzee
