Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Good evening ladies. Cold and windy here today with a few showers thrown in. May your daughter was on a spending spree yesterday good for her, I love shopping. Love your new avatar. Roxy did you get all your chores done today. Had a nice time last night at my nieces a few drinks and nibbles.

Good Morning Each,it’s a fine sunny start so hope it continues ,
I forgot to take the bin out last night so had to run out in My PJs this morn first thing, just caught the bin lorry coming down the ave’…jeeze…Those Boys don’t hang about…have a good one Folks.x

Good morning everybody. Dry here thank goodness. We are getting a purple bin at some point, to add to the collection. Hairdressers then meeting a niece later for coffee.

Afternoon Each, and it’s still sunny and quite mild…got the front & side lawns cut,but will leave the back until tomorrow as My joints and back are screaming at Me…hot shower then feet up for an hour Methinks,

A purple bin Jessie?..sheesh!..We have brown/green/blue/grey…enough already!

Good Morning Each, well it was a lovely sunny one at 7-30,now it’s dull and grey…I was going to cut the grass at the back, but think I may just go for a gallivant to the garden centre instead…or…I may just not do anything except read/write…decisions decisions

Good morning everybody. Still a bit cold here at the moment to do anything in the garden. Chiropodist for me this afternoon and maybe a bit of shopping.

Afternoon, it’s a drive into town to the bank for me today. I was clearing out the cupboards and found my old purse, along with 3 old paper fivers. Hope the bank will still take them after all this time. Gawd I hate going into town but I suppose needs must.

Good Morning Each, another cloudy one here so I’ll get the long handled spiky tool again to dig out weed roots between the paving slabs on the paths before they get a hold…may do a bit o’ food shopping later,

I’ve never came across an old purse with fivers in Roxy, lol, hope the bank exchanged them for You.

Good morning everybody. Grey skies here at the moment. Going to Port Glasgow today for some shopping. Its a new shopping centre and has Tesco and a few other shops.

Morning All, would be a nice day IF ONLY, that blasted wind would drop, can’t get into the garden at all or I’ll freeze.
Yes the bank took the fivers ok and another five of the old pound coins too. I knew that purse was there May, it’s the one I used to use for my weekly subs at the Dog Training and Agility, they like you to have the correct money if possible so when I used to get the right change I bunged it in that purse. I stopped going and forgot all about the money needing to be changed. Anyway it’s done now lol. Actually I may even start going back to the dog club in the warmer weather, we worked outside and I was always c.c.cold. So I stoped going and forgot to go back. :037:

Afternoon Lassies…just back from a gallivant around the shopping centre in Wishaw, bought some kitchen/bathroom things in The Range,a couple of tops & jogging bottoms in Matalan, and some rubbish in B&M!..I should know better not to go in there as I always come out with sweets/biscuits/crisps …I never learn.

Good morning Each, another grey dull one here so no plans except adding to My Memoirs and a day of contemplation…have a good one Folks,xx

Good morning everybody. Weather the same here May this morning. Going to meet friends later for lunch.

Morning Ladies, Well today’s the day. :023: I’ve already got one lawn cut and half of another one. Determined to get it all over with this morning.
Anyway saw this and it made my blood run cold, a very dangerous idea. Have you heard anything about it?

Can just about make it out Roxy, first I’ve heard of it though…where the hell are they going to get all the nhs 24 staff to answer the phonecalls.?.I’ve only ever called 111 once when I slipped on black ice and broke My collarbone…They phoned the local hosp’ to say I was on My way and I went straight through…that was about 15 yrs ago…I’m sure things have changed since then…haven’t had to make a doc’ appt’ for quite some time…so not looking forward to trying to get an app’t any time soon…Gawd…things are going from bad to worse

May, Are you trying to read the article using your phone? It opens up to around 6x4 inches if you click on the photo.

No,I’m using My laptop…zoomed up to 250…but a bit blurred…there’s a bit in the Herald about it,but You have to subscribe…I think They’re just trying it out to see how it flies.,They’re intimating it may just be if You want a same day app’t at Your GPs.?

Good evening ladies. Roxy, I very rarely visit the doctor here. You have to phone first thing in the morning for an appointment. I usually just walk down and make one with any doctor. Turned out really nice here tonight although a bit cold.

Good Morning Each,a chilly dull one here at the moment, but off to cut the grass at the back now My Neighbours are finally up out of Their beds…have a good one Lassies,x

Morning All, Well that’s the schools off from lunch time, end of peaceful walks on the beach. :100:
Sunny here but still that blasted cold wind. Walking the dog then heading over to the great big Tesco in Wick to stock up again. Have to do this every now and again as our Tesco is more like the Corner Shop.
