Hi May, still a bit cloudy here at the moment although the sun is trying hard. Done a few things round here, now going for some shopping.
Hi Jessie,well the promised sun has arrived so Iām off for a nice long walk up to the Library,I keep forgetting itās open all day on a Saturday now.

Afternoon All We went out for lunch today to a new Farm Eating Place, it was really good and not expensive, good helpings too. BUT,ā¦OMGā¦Their cakes were to die for, I couldnāt eat it there as I only like a small lunch but they gave me 2 HUGE slices of Raspberry and White Chocolate cake to take home with us, so thatās tonightās supper sorted. :-p

Roxy those cakes look scrumptious, I would be stuck trying to pick one. Hairdressers and housework for me today, hopefully a walk as well.

Afternoon All Not a bad day here, mostly sun and a few spots of rain at times. Neither of us could eat our cake in one sitting last night, lovely though it was, it was very sweet and sickly. We only ate half and are having the rest tonightā¦
Eveninā allā¦turned out not a bad day after allā¦been pruning and digging out 2 of My rose bushes which died during the hot weather after an abundant show in June,may plant them elsewhere but just put them in tubs for the time being.

Morning All More than a bit windy here today, but itās a drying wind so I have the washing on. Also hoping to cut the back lawns in an hour or so, then if itās still dry will start on the weeds. Sheeeze they are growing far too fast this year.
