Over 50's Club Scotland (Part 1)

Roxy I hope you have one of those ride on mowers to cut the three lawns. It is quiet without May on here. Myrtle there is a meet next year in Cornwall but I’m not sure if I’ll be going, unless I can fly down.

Jess … if it’s in Newquay check out the flights to Newquay airport … the bus into Newquay stops right outside the airport.

I miss May too … I hope she’s OK.

Good Morning/afternoon all…not sure what day it is never mind what the time is,lol…The op’ was just a routine repair job,but I’ve not to do any lifting, shopping, laundry, and def’ no gardening for a few weeks…jeeze…I’m bored already…daytime tv is the pits, but good to see You all again as it seems like weeks instead of days since I’ve posted, and I even forgot My password :-p…Hope all are well and I’ll see Ya all later xxxx

Hi All :039: Good to hear from you May hope your home soon  No I don’t have a sit on mower, mores the pity :frowning: I have a big qualcast classic, the one with the big roller on it. Makes lovely stripes when it cuts and it can cut very short too.
Finally got the washing out as the rain’s stopped, but if the wind has it’s way I’ll be chasing round the garden after it lol.

Good morning everybody. May welcome back good to see you posting again with us. Myrtle it will be Torquay again next year, so will have to make enquiries before I book the Hotel. Roxy you must have plenty of energy to push that around the garden. Going into town later for a look round the shops.

Afternoon All,Home to rubbish wet weather, but no matter,as I aint goin no-place for a while…:-(…Hope Myrtle has better in Oban, but I hear there is some stormy weather due at the beginning of next week…take it easy Folks,xx

Afternoon All :039: Hi May glad your home and ok  I believe it’s the West Coast that’s going to be blasted by the winds on Sunday night.
Actually that mower is easy to push lol, I keep the lawns short so it goes through very easily…It’s just sometimes I find it hard to get into the mood…

Good Morning all,it’s a bright dry sunny windy one here at the moment, washing blowing merrily on the line,

I must admit to feeling My age these past few Months, but now I feel absolutely ancient as I’ve just been informed I’m to be a great Granny in the spring …My Son is in shock knowing He’s going to be a Grandpa at the tender age of 56 …Eldest G/D who’s 25 and Her Partner are so excited, and so am I as there hasn’t been a Baby in Our Family for almost 22 yrs since My Youngest G/D was born,so now I’ll be trailing around Baby shops once again to spend spend spend…Funny the pain I’ve been in since the op’ hasn’t bothered Me at all Today :-p …See Ya All Later, xxx

Good morning everybody. Sun is trying to come through at the moment, took a chance and hung out some towels. May congratulations on becoming a great Granny. There is nothing like a baby in the family. I’m a great great great aunt to Elsie who is two and half.Staying home and hoping to get out and do a bit in the front garden.

Morning All, :039: What a filthy day up here. The seas starting to rock n roll too with some pretty big waves rolling in. Not moving far today apart from a quick walk with the dog…but in the forest as it’s a lot more sheltered…

Morning Each, mild and wet here…off for the flu jab now…as if I haven’t had enough of needles

Good afternoon everybody. Quite windy here at the moment and a strange sky with a touch of orange sun. Walked into town and did my shopping and a taxi home.

OMG. This is so creepy, it’s only just past lunch time and it’s so dark. All the street lights have come on too. This storm is going to be a doosie when it finally hits…

Getting darker here too Roxy and wind starting to increase…I have My back & front door open as it’s so warm…weird…hope it passes before it gets dark cos I hate the wind howling during the night when You can hear everything outside being battered around but it’s too dark to see …keep safe Lassies,xx

The wind here has died down but no doubt it will come back tonight. Starting to rain here, just hope it clears away for the morning.

Hi :039:

Back from lovely Oban … went to the Isle of Sell and Invarary on the included excursion and yesterday on the ferry to Mull and the bus to Tobermory … such gorgeous scenery despite the drizzly rain

Welcome back May and wishing you a speedy recovery and congratulations about the news of a great grandchild

Jess … Torquay is in Devon … confused.com … but I recall you’ve been there by train before … a long journey !!!

Tobermory yesterday complete with a full rainbow … beautiful

Awww Myrtle, We used to live just outside Tobermory when I was a child. I sometimes get very homesick for Mull. Think that’s why I love living up on the top coast so much, reminds me of my childhood haunts…

Roxy Mull and Tobermory is just gorgeous … what a wonderful childhood you must have had

I went into the Church of Scotland for a nosy and a lovely lady offered me a cup of tea then brought out homemade cake as well … she’s lived in Tobermory for a few years and she’s had a very interesting life … and as she said “it’s not over yet !!!” Such kind and friendly people

Good Morning Folks,a bit of a wild & windy night here but certainly not the gales which they predicted,so slept like a Baby

Hiya Myrtle, nice to see You and happy You had such a lovely time further North…see Ya all later,

Morning All :039: Drying up nicely here this morning and no damage through the night, but a few trees down in the forest as I expected. Sun’s out too so got a wash on.
Heading off to the Health Suite this afternoon despite being at the pool for my lengths first thing. Just fancy a while in the Steam Room and a sprawl in a Jacuzzi…Bliss. :048::023:
