Good afternoon everybody. Got back early this morning and stayed with my niece and she dropped me off today. Had a lovely time but a bit to hot for me at times, so I stayed in the shade. What forums are you talking about I will have to check it out.

I’m back from my two nights away and I’ve had a great time buzzing about. I managed to keep the Scottish connection going even though I’ve not been on the forum … I had a lovely chat today with a couple from Arbroath who are on holiday in Nottinghamshire

My sister-in-law was from near Edinburgh and had the lovely Scottish “lilt” to her voice and it was no problem when chatting to her BUT when she had her family with her I couldn’t understand a word they were saying when she reverted to her true Scots way of speaking The couple from Arbroath were in English mode
