I’ve been away for 2 nights with my granddaughter and we’ve had a lovely time … the trip included a return steam train journey to lovely Bridgnorth and today we’ve visited a Victorian Village at Ironbridge :slight_smile:

I also hope Abbey’s OK … :confused:

May two years and I’ll be eligible for a free TV license I pay mine by direct debit. Myrtle that was good getting away with your granddaughter on a wee break. I went over to Arran today with the family, weather was nothing great but the children enjoyed it.

Just back from getting eyes tested,and it seems I have the start of cataracts in both eyes…sheesh!..gotta go back in 6 months and if it’s worsened,then I’ll be referred for the op’ to remove them which could take a Year at least…that’s if I’m still alive and kicking by then :smiley:

That’s my lad, Dageus lol. Yes he’s a walloping big un too, but soft as muck and a great pal.
Do any of you ones use google earth? I can’t do a thing with it now, it all looks like it’s in outer space and I can’t get it back the way it was. :010:

May…my mum had cataracts removed from both her eyes a few years ago, there’s nothing to it and she’s been fine ever since. Day surgery and home around 5pm.

It says google chrome is required to run the new google earth Roxy…Maybe You’ll have to download that?

That’s good news about the cataract op’ too…I should save a fortune if I don’t need to buy any more varifocals…last pair cost over £300.
