Day 8 of our cruise took us to this tiny fishing village of Isafjordur, home to yet more amazing scenery. These pics were taken on the day of the eclipse, which meant any excursions booked were cancelled and everyone had to be on board ship early by 15:00, so we could sail out and find a suitable spot away from the rapidly approaching weather front and hopefully a clear view.
This was taken as we sailed out, noting the gathering clouds which was a concern we would not be able to see anything.
I managed to capture the eclipse through cloud and posted it on the photos to share thread.
