Eliza, please donāt be offended by what iām saying, but you donāt seem to eat much and what you do eat is lots of carbs!
e.g. Bread, Rice, Bananas, Crumpets etc.

I agree i do eat a lot of carbs , they fill me up , I feel empty if i dont have some bread during the day .
Yes I did notice yesterday that you had 6 slices of bread that day, wow!
It would be more healthy for you to have wraps instead of the bread.
I have no idea what weight I am, I refuse to step on scales and when I have to, when at the GP or hospital for example, I ask them not to say out loud, just write it in my notes
I wear size 10 jeans and 14/16 tops. Im a lollipop. Skinny legs and round belly. No bum or hips, just boobs and belly :-). I fluctuate between 9 and 10 and a half stone when I really shouldnāt be above 9 but hey ho - such is life
Like others I donāt care about the weight so much, just now getting older worry about the health risks of a poor diet
I think Ive mentioned I cook 90% of what we eat from scratch and that I do full fat everything and Im partial to a slice of bread with my butter
I donāt like veg, never have had ( force fed as a child has that effect) but I do my best to eat them as long as Ive cooked them. I donāt panic too much about getting five a day, Im feeling really pleased if I get 3. Im also not fussed on fruit, I donāt ever think Oh I fancy a banana/apple/orange etc
So my idea of healthy eating could be way out of skelter with others but it works for me and mine. I do eat oily fish, I donāt eat much in the way of sausages, ham etc, mostly eat chicken, eggs and cheese and what little red meat I do eat, it a small old fashion portion for me - a slice or two of paper thin beef for example . If we do want cakes or biscuits , they are home made. same with pies, all home made, lard and butter in the pastry and a beef stew isnāt right unless there is dumplings
Im like Eliza, I do prefer a sandwich to a meal any-day of the week but I now keep the bread down to work days when Ive no left overs to take for lunch, so now Im down to about 10 slices a week on a bad week. Ive stopped making bread because I honestly could demolish a loaf with a pack of butter all by myself in one sitting
What I do always try to have, is fresh home made soup at hand. Every Sunday when Im getting the dinner on I make two pots of soup, a chunky vegetable broth for Mr Missy ( he doesnāt like blended soups ) and a blended soup for me and mum.Our may be leek and potato, butternut squash, red pepper and tomato, anything really. I freeze half of both and the rest goes in the fridge and if Im hungry, a cup of soup is a quick fix. Ive even had soup for breakfast - keeps me away from the bread bin
I will try the wraps , see if they fill me .

Health is my reason for losing weight , I get breathless , some is down to existing health problems but im convinced if i lost some weight ,i wouldnt be so breathless .
Ive not eaten today , cause ive been at the hairdressers ā¦So think i shall make an ommlette now, put Red Pepper and mushrooms in see what else ive got to throw in .

How about nuking a peeled spud till just cooked, slicing and frying and adding to the omelette to fill you more then bread and butter? Like a Spanish omelette . I sometimes cut up some froze chips into cubes and use those

Was very good today, took in a packet of muesli and a large tub of yogurt to work for my breakfasts. Full of nuts, seeds and fruit but no added salt or sugar
Lunch was a ham sandwich on granary
Dinner tonight is going to be a quick Chinese chicken dish as Ive half a chicken left over from yesterday. Will serve with just plain boiled rice to keep the fat down ( I do like fried rice but needs must)
Main meal I had:
Smoked Haddock, Rice, Butter Glazed Carrots and Minted Peas.
Tonight for supper I had:
Curry Soup and a slice of bread & butter.
Today its:
Lambs Liver, Mash and Peas.
yesterday i did chicken wraps with lettuce and Tomato, and a sour cream dressing .Nice and filling
Cauliflower cheese and a single sausage for me
I donāt like sausages, nor cauliflower nor potatoes so I make do the best I can lol
For brunch I had a tin of sardines on 2 slices of toast, very nice it was indeed
