I brought up the topic of origami in another thread and thought I’d start another thread about origami art.
There are some beautiful works of art made from paper using mostly folding techniques.
Cute stuff!
Each figure is supposed to be made with a single sheet of paper.
Love these colors.
Paper figure sculptures.
Intricate.
Simplicity.

This is less origami and more paper arts but it’s timely. It’s a piece by a Ukrainian artist during the Russian invasion.

This is fascinating! I adore these. I am bewildered as to how the artists manage to get the roundedness of the creations. Fabulous work though…even the boxes!

Then you might like this. It’s very mathematical. There are a bunch of MIT (geeky high level math-science university in the US) people who do work on stuff like that.

Both sets of photos show amazing, painstaking work. Such talent and patience - makes me feel very humble. I love the green swirly one (second set ) with the tiny frogs!
