I’ll start. I’ve got other favorites but here’s three of mine …
60s Beatles
70s Led Zeppelin
80s The Smiths
I’ll start. I’ve got other favorites but here’s three of mine …
60s Beatles
70s Led Zeppelin
80s The Smiths
50’s/early 60’s… Elvis
60’s…The Kinks
70’s/80’s…Queen
60s - The Stones
70s - Genesis
80s - Eurythmics
I’m a bit young to be an Elvis fan but my big brother was.
The Kink are faves, first live gig I ever went to: gloucester mid 60s
Queens, everybody loves them. Saw them at Earls Court '77
Stones … yes, especially Brian Jones era. Saw them in Glasgow early 70s (minus BJ of course).
Genesis … never really did it for me.
Eurythmics … Sweet Dreams Are Made of This early 80s on my Walkman … loud & clear.
more acts that shaped my decades …
60s Peter Green’s Fleetwood Mac
70s Neil Young
80s Talking Heads
90s Supergrass
90’s…Bon Jovi
2000’s…Coldplay
90’s … Nothing
00’s … Er nothing
10’s … Still nothing.
… so what about pre 90s then Longdogs?
(…not sure what point you’re trying to make)
So many choices…
Here’s a start
60s Beatles Supremes Otis Redding
70s Creedence Clearwater Revival and Fleetwood Mac
80s Police, Guns & Roses, Rod Stewart
Beatles urgh no, never
60s beach boys
70s abba
80s Human League and police, right now reminded me
60’s - Pink Floyd
70’s - Pink Floyd
80’s - Pink Floyd
90’s - Pink Floyd
Pre 90’s is different. I was trying to a list from the 60’s to present but could think of anyone from the 90’s. That’s not to say there are no songs I like but just that there are no favourite bands or singers.
It’s still difficult to narrow it down but I will have another think.
:surprised:
I liked Rod Stewart 69-72
I liked Pink Floyd 67-73
The 90s are difficult I know. And post 90s even more so.
Hi can’t believe I didn’t mention Queen! They are my all time favourite
Only one,that’s tuff.
60-Bob Dylan
70-Steely Dan
80-The Fall
90-The Fall
Good question…[50’s-The Drifters]…[60’s-The Temptations]…[70’s-The Chi-Lites]…[80’s-The Temptations-Micheal Jackson].
