One down - several to go!

Think I mentioned - somewhere - that I am making some decoupage pictures as Christmas gifts for my friends this year. This one (A4 size) is for someone who loves Kingfishers.

Begin at the beginning - pieces all cut out.

About two days - because you have to let the glue on each layer dry before you can add the next. Going to have a go at an Owl next!

I did decoupage picture a long time ago , and so I know the effort that has to go into them , a steady hand is a must .
Beautiful picture , and will look even better in a frame .

Thank you Eliza and Mags

LOL - and a very sharp scalpel - I use a surgical one - they are brilliant for this sort of work. Bought several from the hospital when they decided to change to ‘disposable’ ones.

Thank you Muddy

It’s beautiful Tabby, really lovely, and so much time and effort - and love! - has gone into it.

(Why do I keep missing so many threads, only to come across them 2 or 3 days after they’re posted? :icon_rolleyes:)

Perhaps sort/filter your view by category and check the category/section you’re interested in.

Yes you’re right, I should get organised! I guess it’s because I just go to ‘latest’ threads, and if I’ve been away from the site for several hours, then there are inevitably some that were ‘latest’ but are no longer, and just slip down, so I miss them.
