Hello Just thought I would say did join a while ago but never really looked in much…I have a very temperamental computer…I did get on to another site but thats been playing up so thought I would see where else I could get in…I am okay with basic computing but not the jargon …was a copy typist years ago so can type away quite quickly…its the other stuff I have problems with…but that will come with practice… looking forward to posting here…

Do not be afraid of your computer.
Rule 1. Never press the ‘Delete button’ unless you know what you are really doing.
Rule 2. go here:-http://www.bbc.co.uk/learning/ and learn what you need to.
Once you are there click on ‘Information Technology’ in the ‘Most Popular Subjects’ box and the world of computers will be waiting.
The ‘Raw Computers’ is where you can start.
