I watched the very first show (BB1), because it was a novel idea and I wanted to see how it would pan out. I didn’t watch any of the others - wait…thats a lie, I did watch Series 7 because I really liked Nikki Graham. i won’t be watching any of the new stuff because its been done to death now and its boring.
It doesn’t bother me if it is on TV or not.
I watched one episode once to see what it was about and it was so boring I’ve never watched it again.
There’s hardly any of those “unreality” TV shows that I would want to watch but they seem popular with some folk. I worry a bit that the short period of fame for the non-celebrity Contestants may mess up some of their lives in the future but, apart from that, folks who enjoy it can fill their boots, for all I care.
There’s so many TV Channels to watch nowadays, I can easily avoid stuff I don’t like.
To be honest, I wasn’t aware that it had stopped being broadcast. It seemed to be a regular fixture for so long,
I felt so sorry when I heard Nikki died, she certainly was a unique person, she lived a miserable existance with that horrible anorexia didn’t she. Did you see her story on TV? heartbreaking. I felt so sorry for her mum.
I watched it yes, it was so sad. I think she really wanted to get better but simply couldn’t. Her parents divorce so close to her granddad’s death was just too much trauma for her. Plus, she shouldn’t have gone on BB…she hid her mental health issues until she broke down. Such a terrible time.
Oh God, no thanks . I couldn’t stand it, and was so pleased when the series was pulled. Hurrah, no more FB posts, no more gossip on breakfast ‘news’ about it. Praise the Lord,
I can’t actually bear the thought of all that nonsense again
I like Big Brother.
By coincidence my youngest daughter who lives in London was going out with Liam McGough who came third in the 2007 Big Brother series.
He made a lot of money after his appearance on the show but now runs his own tree surgery company in London.
I loved Pete Burns who appeared in one of the Celebrity series.
they may as well make as much money as they can, it usually doesn’t last so why not, I would too except I wouldn’t bare me boobies though I can plant me nipples, I doubt anyone wants to see that hahaha x
It sounds like many are against programmes like Big Brother and that’s their choice.
Equally, l wouldn’t watch any of the Soaps that l find a load of drivel and it amazes me that some people actually believe they are real life!!
Mups, Yes Pete Burns did have an awful face due to, too much surgery and he died at a young age.
I found him to be a wonderful speaker with a massive vocabulary. I could have listened to him for hours and not be bored. He was very witty and talked a lot of sense too.
