I have had my office chail for longerf than i can remember. this evening where the wheel goes into the base arm that section being pl;astic broke . Si I can no longerf keep the wheel in place
Not is all lost though . the seat assembly and centre column are ok0 as are the wheels. Now could have just bought those but for a bit extra I can and have bought a conplete new office chair.
The trick is to keep reusable parts ie seat/wheels and swap over as and when necessary.
OK some might look a bit ‘used’ haha, but there are some good ones.
I searched on my local community site for within 10 km, no good to you but just saying maybe you should do the same. Then there’s lots for £10, 20, 30. …
just put the new chair together and what a difference it is to the old one. Old chair base plate 8x6 inches ,. new one 6x10 inches. nowherecan I fine the who;le base unit onclujding casters with the old base plate fitted, but tghen again it is at leat 15+years years old and modified with a replacement back
Did a little more research and the manufactures were taken over some years ago, hence no replacement parts. all it needed was a castor arm insert but no longer made like that
