Barry, the entries were, the Old Car as it is now and the one where we live years ago.
The second car when we first bought it, was just a reply to Caveman.

@susiejaeger ,sorry Susie but you also posted a photo of the car when you bought it in 1972 which yes, is your second photo! However, it is the third photo of where you live in the 1940s which is the problem, because this thread is for competition entries only, and any photos posted here I assume are for that purpose so I naturally thought it was a competition entry! 
Hi everyone, by all means comment on the photographs that are posted but please don’t re-post the photo in your reply as it makes it very difficult for me to sort out later on for the poll.
Also I must re-iterate that only 2 entries per poster are allowed and the snap must have been taken by the poster.
Sorry to be a bore but everyone please comply with with the rules of the competition for the sake of fairness.

@susiejaeger Sorry Susie, I didn’t want to upset you or anyone else but just wanted to put forward a couple of points for people to avoid in the future, as it does make things quite confusing for me if I can’t work out what is an entry and what isn’t! I do hope you won’t let this put you off joining in the competition in the future as your contribution, like everyone else’s is always interesting and always very welcome. 
By the way I don’t have the power to delete posts even if I wanted to, so I will just ignore the couple of errant posts for this competition and hope that we can put this behind us and look on it as part of a learning curve for us all on this new format?
