I’m sure Jeremy wouldn’t have gone to a Rupert Murdoch summer party.
The UK voters don’t like the idea of a lefty PM ,ok in opposition like Foot to expose the Tory lies.But as PM they prefer a wet Tory eg: Blair.So Starmer has got a good chance in the next election I think.
