Night Swimmy

nite Swimmy…

and it’s goodnight from me

And it’s Goodnight from me too xx

Night night Swimmy, hoping you have a peaceful sleep tonight.

Hi

An update.

My BP crashed so bit of a panic, GTN spray didn’t work and severe angina.

Not been to sleep yet and had regular oramorph and the morphine has been increased.

It has not developed into a heart attack but is very painful and I can feel my heart working hard.

Meg knows what that is like.

The poor nurses have had a terrible night, one dementia lady out of bed, shutting herself in the loo and lashing out and hitting the nurses.

She is obviously very ill and the nurses, who are short staffed, have been brilliant with her.

Very patient and calm.

Then we have the pillock, one of the rudest, most arrogant, obnoxious people I have come across in years.

He really is nasty to the nurses and putting it politely would benefit from some strong advice.

Well that is what we used to call it at work.

He would not enjoy it.

They really do earn their money.

No chance of a sleep for me today, very frequent obs and all and sundry will be taking blood, scans etc and I will need to convince the docs tomorrow that I am fine to have any chance of getting out.

Morning Ian, the night shift is the hard graft most of us don’t see.

With that kicking off, the night duty nursing staff must be worn out - and you must be worn out too after a sleepless night.
I hope you manage to get a good night’s sleep tonight xx
