Night Swimmy

I was just thinking about our forum friend Swimmy stuck there in hospital so I thought it nice to start a goodnight thread for him to cheer him up so he knows he’s got friends out here rooting for him.

I’ll start.

Night night buggerlugs  keep the fight and see you in the morning.

It must be tough to just lie in bed and be poked by a young woman in a uniform every now and then.

Sadly swimmy’s nurse is a bit more like Tom’s ( of Tom and Jerry fame) owner.

Hi

Thanks again everyone.

It’s a bit noisy in one of the female bays, medical type noisy, which is never good.

I have just have my observations done.

I’m a bit wheezy so oxygen level has been put up, backrest raised and coffee and oral morphine, known as oramorph given.

The Pirate,we all have nicknames,is loudly chuntering away in his sleep and keeping the rest awake.

It is going to be some time before l get back to sleep.

It’s true that hospitals seem even noisier at night than they are in the day, and sleep is hard to come by… :face_with_head_bandage:

Anyway, sending best wishes for early parole and in the meantime take it easy mate and enjoy being fussed over.

Hi

Yes I have, and very good on ordinary wards.

They don’t work on specialist high intensity wards

I am in a side room, wired up, I have a clip on thing on one ear to monitor oxygen and pulse there, frees up both hands for canulas etc.

The noise from my monitor in the room is quite loud, particularly when an alarm goes off…

Never mind,it may be noisy but there is every bit of equipment that may be needed to hand.

From time to time there is some very juicy gossip from the nurses station
