It is always very strange when you post on a forum for the first time but I’m sure you will soon get the hang of it 
A good place to start is to click on Home in the orange bar above, it will take you to the Home page where you’ll find many different forums to suit your interests. Click on any of them to find many different threads to choose from… or you can start a new thread of your own.

Ahh… I wondered what that was too 
The explanation for that can be seen here:
What it means is we can have a graphic made out of a picture/photo of our choice that can be used for when we welcome new members here in the Introduction section.
Azz, our Administrator, has very kindly offered to do this for us … you can see an example in my welcome post to you above (that is my cat Cassie!)
If you want one made, just post a photo and the wording you would like on it, in Azz’s thread which is linked in this post.
