All the news is talking about the new (or is it just revised) trade between the UK and the EU. Whatever the details it seems to be about reducing trade obstacles (checks, etc.) and more defense collaboration. This follows a new trade deal with India and possibly (don’t think the details are yet in place) one with the US.
To be fair, Labour did pin its election campaign on growth. So perhaps this new wave of trade deals will help with that. But is it actually about cementing in globalisation?
