Thanks, I was just curious. I correctly guesed the “L” 
I made a special effort today and looked up New Jersey on Google maps partly because I have had it mentioned in several novels I have been reading and had no idea where it was in the USA.
While I had a reasonable idea roughly where California, Texas and Florida are but New Jersey was a complete mystery. Now I know.
