New friends!

Hi, not sure if this is the right forum to be asking this, but i’m looking to make a new friend (female) for occasional nights out to watch live bands in pubs. I’m 67 but still love my music! I’m sitting here, on my own on this glorious day, wanting to just sit outside a pub (in the shade!) and have a glass of pop! (I don’t drink!) but have no-one to go with!

Hi Shirley and welcome aboard. Technically you might have been wiser to post this on the Your Introductions section at the top of the boards, but a mod might get round to shifting it if they deem fit.

TBH not many (if indeed any) people on here mingle face to face. We sometimes exchange contact details via private messaging (pm) if needs be (for example sending stuff by post). Not sure how many posts you have to make for you to have access to the pm facility though.

Good luck with your search though. It might help if you proved us with details on your profiile as to whereabout in the UK you actually live;-)

Thanks all!! I realised when i went out i’d forgotten to put wherabouts i lived! I blame the sun! :smiley: Also, i hadn’t noticed the ‘Your Introductions’ secion, again, i blame the sun! :smiley:

Hey be careful there Shirley it often starts off with a coffee from LD and you never know where its going to lead. :lol:

Welcome its rare I post on these sections mainly stick to my music and you are always welcome to spend a night posting music with me,but no coffee I am afraid.
