I noticed a payment was taken from my account for an ad block subscription.
Once again, I never had auto renewal but payment was taken.
I notified them of this and they immediately credited my account with the amount taken.
Seems these companies are being fraudulent when taking unauthorised payments.
I will assume everyone who at some time had an account with them would have a payment taken.
It is up to the individual to cancel the subscription before payment is taken.
How strange. My AdBlock+ is freeware and always has been as an add-on. Very good it is too 
I’ve got “Adblock Plus” and “AdBlock” as Chrome extensions, both free. Sometime a new tab opens asking for payment for one or the other, can’t remember which. But I just close the tab.
