My Own Personal Choice of Music

Going back a couple of songs to Dr Hook. To me the sign of a great band is that they can perform and sound great anywhere and this just goes to show just how great this band where.

Saw this guy the other night in a US series called Ghost Wars getting on a bit now. I think his singing days are over wouldn’t believe he is 70 years old.

Nice to hear a bit of soft rock, Longfellow. Good choices :slight_smile:

Meat Loaf keeps trying to make comebacks but he knows his voice is basically shot now. Always good to see the man’s old videos though, especially the ‘Bat’ ones.

Nice one, cheers bud :slight_smile:

Time for my morning workout.

Like the Zucchero videos very much:-p, Longfellow and the songs are okay too.
No interest in the smug and swaggering Robbie Williams though.

Lynyrd Skynyrd. What a great band but how they lived with so many tragedies. First that 1977 plane crash which killed six members of the band including Ronnie Van Zandt the lead vocalist. They also had member suffer and die with health problems, a motorcycle crash, you name it. I think There’s only Gary Rossington the lead guitarist who is the only original member.
Thanks for postin these, longfellow, and for the P. Gabriel stuff too :slight_smile:

Absolutely love The Who. 5:15 is a fantastic song, great in Quadrophenia. :slight_smile:

Great stuff Longfellow! Love Sam Cooke, especially the incredible ‘A Change Is Gonna Come’ :slight_smile:

:lol::lol::lol:
I just love looking at the picture whilst I listen to the music.
Oh the good old days, I can just imagine that smoke going down into my lungs… :lol:

Dammm I loved smoking.
