My Own Personal Choice Mk2

Our lass is in Turkey till the 29th at the wedding of my nephew
and I ain’t allowed to say their names.
I could not be bothered going to many idiots in one place.
And thats not the Turks.:lol:
So I am home and sleeping in a lot and just chilling because that weather is pretty bad out there.

A bit of Mrs Mills I think is called for. Least I think it was Mrs Mills.

That’s spooky. We just bought some Jaffa Cakes and discovered that they were made in Turkey and horrible there were too.

Smithy Turkey was never a country that any of us wanted to go to. It may be steeped in history and places to see but it is also a borderline terrorist country . :071::077:
Trouble is the party planners would not let any one know where the destination was till they virtually boarded the plane. Then I got the text from her “Turkey OMG”.
Anyways if anything happens its only the wife that as gone not my kids. and she is her own worst enemy she will go anywhere for a good knees up and a beach party.

Hopefully not appropriate but this was on the radio this morning.

Bugger you do know that now I am gonna be whistling and singing that tune all day.
One of their greats and they had a few.

Bit of a theme.Can you guess ?

First thing in the morning still half a sleep so sorry Smithy I cannot untangle your question at present .
Was at Stanstead airport for hours last night did not get home till late.

But I can manage a couple of classic’s to kick off my day.

OK I won’t bang on about it

When you say it like that it suggests that maybe it is something to do with the drums. Karen Carpenter did do drums but only in studio’s, so that could be a connection to The Honeycombs and the female drummer. God knows about Velvet Underground did they play backing tracks at anytime for one or the other groups. Perhaps the girl in the picture was their drummer, sorry but I never followed Velvet Underground and my big sisters listened to the Honeycombs I could not stand all that banging they did…

Of course all of this is guess work…

Correct.
I see your BH is back.I hope you tied a yellow ribbon…
(don’t click the video ,it will be with you all day)

Only back a day and I know where I would love to tie that yellow ribbon.

Oh Me and My Wife.:lol:

Across The Universe.

Bit of a Beatles thing,I see.50 years ago…

I have never heard the Don McLean version. I only know the Perry Como version. Great song though.

Luv the movies and the music.
The first obviously a little better than the second.
