A musical melange today:

Just great music Wilko Rules.

Yer gonna love these.

Yes,thanks LF.
I think I mentioned somewhere that we used to follow Dr Feelgood all over the country in the 70’s.

Feelgood a great band nice to see they did a lot on concerts around here (Southend)
We have quite a few venues in Essex where there are still great bands performing trouble is I cannot do crowded houses.

I am renewing some of my rotting back fencing at present and my neighbours are looking over at me, not quite sure if they like Zeppelin but sod them I suffer with all their banging and loud music its nice to get my own back on rare occasions… But I am tiring fast so they may get a break soon.

Another version of Ramble On, from Plant.

This is one class piece of music.Hope the neighbours like it.

We’ve got one noisy neighbour. It’s worse in the summer. Not only the music but he likes to ride a motor bike around his garden.

Anybody remember this great group.
So many great musical genius’s hit the airways in those early days with all their different styles. Trying to break free from the Rock N Roll era. It was a fantastic time for me and I suppose many of you oldies.
I can tell you I loved it all for what I can remember of it that is…

Fantastic drum solo from Kenny Jones.

How about this fantastic performance.

Gotta go the nurse is ready to give me my bath.
Happy Sunday everyone, if its Sunday that is.

Gotta slip one of these songs in here and there to keep in Floydy’s good books.

I remember Traffic and Steve Winwood.
We saw these when they supported The Stones in the olden days.

Should have been better known.Too late now.

I’m extremely pleased you posted this, PS. Jackie Leven was a great vocalist.

This next video features his old band Doll by Doll and is from 1981. It’s always been a resident fixture in my all-time favourite singles list. Here’s ‘Main Travelled Roads’:

Thanks for the space, Longfellow
