My Own Personal Choice Mk2

Just been catching up in here, Longfellow. I do see them all normally but usually when I’m deskbound at work (of course I’m off sick atm). Nice to see Manfred Mann’s Earth Band in there. An outfit I find very underrated.
Keep up the good work bud :023:

I’m always up “at sparrow’s fart” as they so eloquently say here.

John Peel was essential listening for me.But he never played this band,he didn’t like them at all. There’s no accounting for taste.

It’s Sunday here and I’m feeling all religious.

We still have an hour left before Sunday.
Try a little Rare Earth.

Funky music or what.
It feels like I am doing The Old Grey Whistle Test.

Fingers not pressing the right keys.
Guess its time for my bed, might even pop in and see the vicar in the morning. “Night all.”

Whispering Bob Longfellow.

It’s catchy.

Night Smithy I need my pit.

Good ni…oh he’s gone.

to continue the ten years after theme.

Rare Earth … I Know I’m Losing You

I know Rod Stewart’s version but not that one. Nice drums.

Three of the greatest from my youth. :023:

I’ve been playing On the Road Again, Woodstock a lot recently, ever since you posted it on that other thread, longfellow  :023:

Gotta take my hat off to you Smithy.
I was feeling sluggish when I woke this morning but now I am seeing the world through clearer eyes after listening to that selection mate.
Loved it by the way just about managed to keep up with those brilliant lyrics though.

Yep you cannot beat the old ones Dood.
How about this from the band I could listen to all day.

Something I never considered myself in my early years.

Sorry to read that you are laid up fella here’s hoping for a quick recovery and you can get back out there.
Seriously get well soon how about posting a few tunes.

Time for lunch

Nice selection of tunes Longfellow.

Thank you Bratti and don’t forget Smithy ,he keeps me on my toes.

A few selections from my 70s dancin days.

I suppose all great musicians have to start somewhere.
Always cringe and smile when I see this one pop on my screen.Squeaky high pitched voice and that bloody neck movement totally surprised his head never fell off.

And then he matured into a beautiful swan has the story goes.
