My old Mups is 16 today.
She has been through so many health scares this year, including very nasty Pancreatitis. She doesn’t hear too well, and can’t see much because of her cataracts, but she still looks forward to a gentle walk and enjoys herself in a quieter way now.
I didn’t think she would make this birthday, but she has and I’m over the moon.
This is the card I have made for her - maybe not quite like the professionals on here could do, but she was still pleased with it.
I baked her some Salmon biccies for a treat too.
Gertie is well, thank you but sadly I could not keep little Arthur.
Gertie freaked out. Pain in the bum she was! She is the worst drama queen I have ever had in my life. She went on hunger strike to get her own way in the end, so sadly, after nearly 3 weeks of this, I had to take him back to the breeder, who has kept him for showing now. I bawled for days, but I had to consider my existing dogs as well.
Look at this. Can you honestly tell me she hasn’t got guilt written all over her??
Thank you so much for all your good wishes everyone. You are all very kind.
Thank you also to Bratti and Alice for the super cards too - lovely.
She enjoyed her salmon biscuits, but she mustn’t have them all in one day, so I’ve kept some back. I even cooked her some lamb for her tea which she devoured heartily.
That was a little one-off special treat because lamb is too fatty for her old tummy really and I can’t risk upsetting her pancreas any more.
She felt a bit cold tonight, as her hair has got much sparser than it used to be, so she has her little wooly coat on now, and is sleeping peacefully by the radiator next to me.
