Here is the throttle, time for a bit of soldering. I need to chop the multiplug off the thumb throttle to fit.

Itâs a sunny morning so I went out on the ordinary bike for a five mile ride. Those boring indoor leg exercises paid off. I dropped in to see how the allotment is on the way back. First time there since the lockdown. Nice to see it again.
Just bought a suspension saddle pillar for the Saracen, thinking about electrifying it with a 1500w motor and a 48V 20ah battery.
This should make it easier on the coccyx.

They certainly absorb the bumps quite a bit. I expect itâs not a problem with all of them but the one I had developed a noticeable twist from side to side when pedalling. It was a bit off-putting so I went back to the solid post in the end. I should probably have paid more for a better one.
Mart, the saddle pillar has passed its first test, a nine miler over bumby terrain.

Your bike isnât very literate.
Bit like its owner.
Its a Saracen not Sacrosanct.
Just learnt a new word, that could come in Hamby.
Going to throw the Saracen in the car tomorrow, and, now I have the Handlebar mount for the Gopro, will film where I am working, just got to find out how to upload it then.
Unlikely!
That community is also aiming high to expect dogs to don their own leads. Expecting them to read is one thing, but asking them to overcome their thumb issues is quite another.
Looking forward to those GoPro shots . Mine is just sitting here begging to be mounted on the SUP.
A photo from when we had the âOver The Hill Off Road Bike Clubâ website. I miss those days.
The photo of the bike leaning up against the sign reminded me of itâŠ
Yes, Mart that does remind me of spitfireâs photo, and the fact that you are still positing suggests that you kept your hands of âunknown objects.â
You have mentioned your club before, and I imagine that you had plenty of great adventures with good people; I know you have good stories! : The closest thing we have here is a group called âThe Slow Ridersâ who plan trips around the area that are geared for the over fifty crowd.
There are stories of the rides that were put on the website but reading them again, they are a bit long and likely wouldnât be all that interesting to others. I think they are the sort where you really had to be there.
We have âWalk a Mile in my Shoesâ, we can now have âRide Five Miles on my Bikeâ.
âŠor âTake a fall off my bikeâ.
Excellent!
Looking forward to seeing the landscape! (We donât need no photos of purdy girls.)
