Any rock/pop star over 40 should retire from live performances. They are just not up to it. :grinning:

That’s wonderful. :035: Something about you is a favourite.

I guess that some are and some are not.
However it must be very difficult to quit and willingly let go of the feeling of fame and being cheered at on gigs. Must be like a drug.

Yes.That’s true.

Yes, great song, and easy to play the bass. My favourite I guess is “Love Games”. :hugs:

I can see why! Nice :ok_hand:

I just happen to listen to “random” music and then “Lying still” from the album “World Machine” came up. Wow what a great song, haven’ heard it in years it seems. About time to listen to their entire work again it seems

Well Charlie Harper and The UK Subs still appear to be going strong…a mature band if ever there was one

Lying Still was brilliant :star_struck: thanks! Lyrics are perfection.

Leaving you now - was great from that Album as well.

If you’re revisiting them then have a listen again to:

It’s over
To be with you again

Thanks for the recommendations :+1:t3: it’s good to reminisce.

There’s lots, the slowly Rolling Stones are the most famous I suppose.

That’s true.
I saw Roy Wood about five years ago, he put on a terrific Christmas show at a local venue.
A larger than life character :+1:
