I too have those glass balls in the photo. Got about 15 (I think not checked for a few years) of them I picked up off a beach in Cornwall when I was a lad and stayed with my Gran every year.
There are a lot made for the tourists and thin not like the originals that were heavy and used to support fishing nets. I understand used by French fisherman back in those days.
You can easily tell fake from real. Fake ones don’t have any usage marks like chip or scratches and are smooth and light in weight. These one can get for around £15
Genuine ones like mine are a lot heavier and show signs of use. These can sell for between £30 to £50 depending on colour (darker green preferable). I actually have one in white but got no idea what it is worth
