Let me start by being balanced - yes, of course, the people, sorry, men and only men, who went along with Epstein certainly did it to take their pants down. Actually that is one euphemism too far - they went to have sex with women (in some cases girls). That is true and the guilt of these men is their own fault.
However it all was most certainly Epstein’s fault and the greater guilt lies with him. He was the one trafficking these women, sometimes girls, and bringing them to his property so that men he knew could have sex with them. He was doing all this because he wanted to have sex with the women / girls he found but also to gain leverage over the men dumb enough to go along with his offers. You cannot possibly claim that it was not Epstein’s fault. That implies that there is nothing wrong with trafficking women / girls and making them available to the men he invited round.

However, less reported on and talked about are the thousands of girls kidnapped off the streets of Bradford, Rotherham, Rochdale and Leeds. Girls who were taken to a life of drugs and sex with no end reward, just severe mental issues and nobody listening to them especially the police. A far cry from the women and girls who are now telling their stories for a good price…I just don’t have time for Epstein’s sordid lifestyle, or the posh gets that resided in it.

If this were a simple issue of supply and demand then all we would be talking about is an introductions agency or straight forward prostitution. But we are talking about trafficking minors.
I am disgusted in reading this response! Those girls were taken at 13, 14, 15 ,16 years old from the homes they knew, teased with kindness from Maxell and Epstein, then groomed to behave while men abused, cajoled in submission, and raped these same girls. Who could the girls turn to? Adults with power all around them, trapped like mice in a cage. What do you think at that age they had the experience/wisdom/courage to fight off their captors??
Oh, yes, I’m sure they have forgotten the years of being frightened to death if they dared flinch while the rapes and tortures were being done at the men’s pleasure.
Just a flicker of remembrance, and now that they are more mature adults, the wisdom to try and make right the wrongs done to them, they must be in their party pj’s and laughing.
Oh yes, it’s the gift that keeps on giving. And with attitudes reflected in your post, I can imagine your own compassion,morality, and conscience for these girls.
And, no, not all of us have done these things because we had poor judgement in younger years. Perhaps you are a voice of experience?

I’m not an apologist for Epstein, I’m suggesting that it’s rules for the rich, and the poor get ignored. The entitled get what they deserve, I have no sympathy for Epstein or the women who thought it would be a good little earner. I do have sympathy for the poor white girls kidnapped off the streets of Yorkshire towns. To be quite frank, I couldn’t care less about Epstein or his empire, so don’t any of you take the high moral ground and try and put words in my mouth.

What did he do, he surrounded himself with “yes people” essentially “nobodies”, and gave them a false sense of power, and as long as they were doing as he wanted, they were fine, till he needed a scapegoat. Every follower of Trump is a weak and insecure person who was nothing before Trump, and will be nothing once he’s gone, and “Mel” was a street nobody looking for a sugar daddy, if it had not been Trump, it would be some other rich “old bloke” going through a “mid life crisis”.
