There is a very good reason not to go into the sea .
Shares are getting bigger , and it no use telling me they don’t like to eat humans even if they only give one a investigative nip you are a goner.

Frightening creatures they are, and as you say Muddy, you wouldn’t stand a chance against one if he chose you for dinner.
Something similar is happening to crocs in the north since they became a protected specie. They have become more carnivorous because of the abundance of feral pigs.
So good and bad news
They didn’t need protecting till the white man arrived, they’re reverting back to normal size.
