I think you meant 28th October 2023. It’s reported that he drowned in his hot tub at his home.
I’ve been thinking about Matthew Perry a lot recently. I watched his last round of interviews promoting his book. He looked desperately unhappy. I was sad for him. But I was surprised by how much he fooled everyone at the height of his fame that he was happy and doing well. i was reminded that addicts can be very good at fooling people.

Very tragic. He died in his outdoor hot tub. Only 54 and it took 14 surgeries to repair his colon and stomach as a result of the toll of his opiate addiction. He didn’t remember filming the last 3 years of Friends as he was taking 55 tablets a day. All because of a jetski accident. His house was very modest by Hollywood standards. He hated being called Chandler Bing by fans. RIP.
There are very few actors i miss,but Matthew Perry is one i shall miss.
