This is the first part of a twenty-minute nap by the male Magpie.
He was simply plum tuckered out, what with feeding the chicks, warding off the crows, keeping track of his ladies.
One of his ladies had a quick bath.
It’d be a brave magpie that’d take a nap in my garden, given my two cats!!
